I appreciate all the great shots being uploaded to the mod's image gallery! I ask that you keep the uploaded content safe-for-work so that the image gallery can remain accessible to all. Thank you.
I've tried installing the mod three times, but it still doesn't appear in the pause menu. I'm using Vortex, does anyone know what I can do to make it work? I would really love to have this mod because I love taking pictures
Are you using Mod Configuration Menu? If not, no mods will appear in your pause menu. Also this mod is pre next gen update, so unless you're using a version of Fallout 4 before the 2024 updates, I suggest using this photo mod instead which DOES work with next gen update. powerofthree's Photo Mode at Fallout 4 I'd also recommend using MCM for the newer photo mod too, it's really handy for so many mods to change their key-binds to whatever your setup is. The mod I specified was created based on the original mod (you are currently on the page of the original mod), so do not forget to ENDORSE the authors of the original mod and the mod for the "Next Gen" version of the game! If I made a mistake and the mods for NG do not work in the "LONDON" version - write to me, and I will correct the comment so as not to mislead people!
Some users have already beaten me to it and indicated the NG version of the mod, but they all did it in the answers and not everyone may see it!
@registrator2000, dear author of the mod, so that people know where to look for the NG version of the mod - please write the address of the new mod or just pin my comment (I don't need likes or anything else (if there is anything like that on this site at all, I don't know, since I haven't asked myself anything like that))
Anyone ever encounter the photos folder not showing up where it’s supposed to? And if so where the heck did it go?
ive used this photo mode for a long time and thr folder was always there.
just did a fresh install of fallout and of course added photo mode took some screenshots with it then went to get the shots from the folder and to my surprise the folder is nowhere’s to be found.
Absolute Path: In this case, screenshots will be saved in 'C:\Users\[UserName]\Pictures\Screenshots' and named as 'FO4ScreenshotX'. (X is a sequential number)
How to change the sequential number of screenshots?
in Fallout4Prefs.ini
[Display] iScreenShotIndex=X
X is a sequential number. Set it to whatever number you want. The number increments by 1 every time you take a screenshot.
Why are the screenshots always saved in MO2's Overwrite folder?
This likely has something to do with Kezyma's Root Builder for Mod Organizer. Due to how it's implemented, using a relative path for screenshots may result in misplaced screenshots, even if you've created a root folder and reorganized the folder structure as described in the Root Builder guide.
Set the 'sScreenShotBaseName' to an absolute path instead. An absolute path outside the Fallout 4 game directory is recommended.
Is it safe to make the esp an espfe?
By checking the esp with FO4Edit, I only discovered [Image Space Adapter] in it. Seems safe to convert it to an espfe even tho you have to compact its FormIDs first, then add ESL flag. But I don't know how the F4SE plugin works since i'm not a F4SE plugin dev anyway.
Tested in game and Photo Mode seems to be working as nicely as before. So the answer is YES?
This photo mode doesn't work with the next gen version. The mod author is highly unlikely to update this mod, despite posting last year that they intended to do so. To much time has passed and they don't respond to community messages. Click on the link for a photo mode that works with the next gen version. powerofthree's Photo Mode at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community
Haven reverted to Fallout version 163 I was able to make it work but unfortunately the WASD keys don't work anymore. I can't move around the character like I used to and only the Q and E work. Any guess?

When prompted by MO2, right-click the Data folder and select "set as <data> directory", and then install the mod as normal.
