Visual effect fails when Pipboy is used. This is the same issue reported with other low health mods and the same reason I can't make an ISMOD effect for player high radiation. If anyone has an idea to stop the Pipboy from breaking ISMODs message me.
This mod does work. I will remove the visual and continue using the sound for very low health. You can use an editor to change when the effects happen and even add some red or whatever you like to the effect.
You have to make the variable keep adjusting itself. Once the variable adjusts the game will realize it needs to redisplay the ismod. Maybe create an if statement in a loop where if rads are high enough to display the ismod then the amount keeps getting +1'd then -1'd but on a slow enough interval to where the if statement can be made false again once radiation is reduced by an effect
I did not do that in my mod out of sheer laziness.
If you were really lazy this mod page would not exist or the other 20 mods. First Person Death Cam is a must for me. You have the best blood mod too. I am very happy with the low health audio only. When I am sick or my allergies are bad I have ear sound pulsing. When I am in game with low health the sound is so familiar it is surreal. I now think having the visual would detract from the realism for me. Just for education purposes is the if statement a script component? I have a few years of FO4Edit learning but I never got scripting tools and knowledge.
I'm making my own game now, 2D space shooter like Space Invaders but has a procedurally generated galaxy and galactic map with my own music in it. Over 7k levels per galaxy and procedurally generated planets and enemies with modular weapons, weapon heat mechanics, ammo etc.
I get good low health visuals I get full color when using pipboy I get good low health visuals when done with pipboy
I don't know why the pipboy does not break the ismod now. I have a file that removes BLUR from many ismod files but it seems to be the same when I remove the file.
EDIT: if Fallsouls is activated for pipboy I do not loose the ismod when using the pipboy
Get FO4Edit. Super simple tool basically shows everything in esp files. You will see the 50 and can just type 30. Close the tool and it saves it for you, done. It even creates a backup if you make a mistake. When you first use the tool you will realize you can change the height in a jump mod, the damage in a weapon mod, you can do so much by just looking at files and typing a number. If you are not using FO4Edit conflict checker, error checker, and dirty edit cleaner you HAVE issues in your game that will eventually have you bug fixing for hours. Trust me you want this.
Try it out and see for yourself. It isn't the mod devs job to find out these things =P I did however look the Sound of Pain only uses the FX.wav files this one has a bit more to it. If you have MO2 you can look in side the BA2 to find out what it has in it.
solutions use xEDiT and restore orginal path to sound files realisticLowHealth.esp 0004daad UIHealthHeartbeatALP -- Sound ANAM -- sound/fx/lowhealth.wmx to orginal Sound\FX\ui\UI_Health_Heartbeat_A_LP.wav 0004daae UIHealthHeartbeatBLP -- Sound ANAM -- sound/fx/criticalhealth.wmx to orginal ? Sound\FX\ui\UI_Health_Heartbeat_B_LP.wav
ONLY 7,122 DOWNLOADS!? WHHHAT? THIS IS THE PERFECT MOD FOR IMMERSION IF YOU PLAY SURVIVAL WITH NO HUD. AMAZING WORK. Also especially helpful with no HUD when you use Agony and Better Locational Damage.
one question. does the duration from desaturated colors and swooshing sound change with how you've upgraded the medic perk like it takes at most maybe 5 second to go from low health to max, i was wondering if the mod followed the 5 second rule of going from desaturated to fully colored within the 5 seconds?

I just wish we could adjust when it activates because at 50% its a bit too early imo
Would love it at 20% or 30% health instead
use xEDiT

realisticLowHealth.esp
0004daad UIHealthHeartbeatALP -- Sound
ANAM -- sound/fx/lowhealth.wmx to orginal Sound\FX\ui\UI_Health_Heartbeat_A_LP.wav
0004daae UIHealthHeartbeatBLP -- Sound
ANAM -- sound/fx/criticalhealth.wmx to orginal ? Sound\FX\ui\UI_Health_Heartbeat_B_LP.wav
and of course you must install both mods
