Then either something is overwriting this mod or those creatures were spawned into the game before this mod was loaded. Either way, not really my concern.
So far as I can tell from reading everything in the description the one thing I actually care about getting rid of, animals dropping legendary weapons, is untouched by this mod.
Given this, and the author's extreme rudeness, I won't be using this mod, and will advise others not to as well.
Normally I don't respond to comments like this, but I'm going to make an exception today.
99% of comments on Nexus are "your mod doesn't do what I want it to do" or "this mod is broken when I use it with this other mod." Neither of those things are my problem. Perms are open - please feel free to make whatever changes you want to anything I've ever uploaded. No permission needed.
For people that want to learn how to do that, great! I'm so, so happy to help. But the entitled users that make no efforts to make the mods/tweaks/improvements they want for themselves, they get nothing. You get nothing.
If you don't like it, then that's a shame. Modding isn't hard. It just takes a little time and patience. Comments like this, though, are a huge part of why I barely upload anything here anymore. I don't want to deal with comments like this or people that complain that my mods don't do whatever they think they should do.
Legendary drops are handled by a global value. You can add whatever conditions to it you want (i.e., "Subject.HasKeyword"AnimalTypeCreature"=0). It would be unrelated to this mod, and would also not conflict with this mod.
Please, ignore these people. I feel sorry that someone in their spare time makes a mod, decides to share it with people who might be interested in such a mod and they are ungrateful like this. First; thanks for creating this, I'm glad that something like this even exists for Fallout 4, since I hate seeing caps and random junk in animal inventory. Endorsed and kudos given. Second; could you please make a version that would also disable animals dropping legendary weapons?
Aside from the voracious appetites of some of the creatures, this also changes (from an immersion perspective) an actually important fact of Ghouls.
What is believable that would be destroyed by enabling this unmodified:
Mole Rats eating some small junk items and caps; if it fits it eats Mirelurks are like the rhoombas of the wastes, I'm sure if you vivisected a few you would find some oddities, especially caps. Dogs eat things they're not supposed to, c'mon do you even real life? Deathclaws eat people, people have junk Ghouls, afaik, have an insatiable attachment to random objects, this is a feature of the ghoulification process. My world is destroyed when a ghoul doesnt have their trusty plastic spoon Brahmin are two headed cows, and cows can eat things, just look-up bovine "Hardware Disease" Radstags are mutated undulates just like Brahmin, so I imagine they might have a similar thing going on. Yao Guai are bears, and bears eat literal garbage, who knows what goes down their chops, eh?
Im not trying to be mean or anything, just critical. It is a but unsettling that a mutated bug can carry a ceramic coffee mug, but it isn't out of the realm of possibility that some of the objects in Fallout make their way into the culinary regimen of the creatures that inhabit it.
Im lazy and havent gotten into adjusting mods myself, but I would recommend just tweaking the LL instead of outright ripping all these items out of their pockets/stomachs.
This post serves to notify curious user's that this mod could impact their immersion, which is the opposite of the express purpose of this mod
I actually would want a few of these lists because some items do seem a bit odd to be in their inventories. Maybe I actually want to use this mod, but in its current state, cannot because I disagree with the extent of the changes
Maybe this could give you some motivation or inspiration to create an alternate version of this mod or allow certain user inputs to calibrate what exactly is changed

I'm not missing any point. I make mods I want to use. This is what I want, so I made it. You are free to make whatever changes and tweaks and anything else you like. I don't want to make those changes, ergo I will not make them.
KrZny if you want immersion first you need to make a mod where you cut open every creature's stomach to see what's inside. Animals go by smell, they don't eat everything they find. And I would love to see a ghoul trying to swallow a spoon Anyway let's not try to excuse Bethesda's lazy leveled lists design. Caps in animals IS an oversight as many other things in leveled lists.
I read all of what you said and just wanted to add that I thought you were polite as possible. It sucks some people take a light criticism and have an attitude about it rather than just say "Thanks and no thank you" then moving on. You didn't even demand anything but just recommend. I uninstalled the mod, because personally I think it's messed up people activate "defense mode" for silly reasons.
To be fair, most of these creatures would actually eat all kinds of junk (especially when food is scarce) and others would eat people who carry all kinds of junk, so finding this stuff on those creatures wouldn't actually be unthinkable. I guess insects are the only ones that wouldn't drop caps and junk.

Happy modding.

Thank you for this great mod!
