Don't know if it's this mod (which is great otherwise) or just the game mechanics, but the Abernathy NPCs sink into the ground when they are working the garden in front of the house.

I would use this, but I have a mod that cleans and somewhat resurfaces all the known commonwealth settlements, and other mods for those settlements create a weird effect.  BUT, your idea is spot on.  Ever notice when a contractor builds a new neighborhood, mini mall, etc. that they heavily grade the land?  It should be that 'good' settlement sites should be good because of several factors, landscaping being one of them.  Since this is far future and nobody's had any significant manufacturing for 200+ years, heavy equipment is pretty much non-existent.  Makes me wonder about the clothing and clothing mods I see on here unless everyone is using 200 year old clothes or learned to make and run a machine for making cloth, etc. (Leather should be the #1 material at this time because of that.)

Unfortunately, due to the changes with Nexus Mods TOS I am removing my mods from this site. For information on where to find my mods in the future you can visit:

    https://damanding.xyz/

There will be some delay with me getting everything organised, but that's the site for my modding team so I will post updates there when I have them.

    Regards,

if its possible, could you make empty flat versions of your settlements. I love the flat building area's so much, shame this wasn't possible from Bethesda. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the others.

Hello and happy new year. Flat settlements idea is a good help, but I don't think it can be used in particularly difficult situations, where the workshop is too high or too low (Spetacle island, Coastal Cottage, The Slog, Oberland, Graygarden, Visitors-Far Harbor and Longfellow, and some other settlements. And for me, speaking, i don't use a flat mod or other kind mod, that rearrange the workshop to a new spot, because i thing this make problems. Maybe i use, a All in one mod, of your flattered settlements, when you complete this series. That's all. Thanks.

I have done it. Flat Spectracle island :D
It's not completely flat but i think it works better than vanilla Spectracle.
Also i don't know how to do all in one... i'm new :(

Hi. Im kinda stupid when it comes to modding Fallout. Abernathy is still not flat for me. What else do i need to do beside installing this with NMM? I do have some mods already installed, like Homemaker, True Storms, Repair Sanctuary, Alternate Settlements, Vivid Fallout, Scrap Everything...the rest of the mods are turrets, armors and simmilar stuff.

It should not required any other mods to work. I don't use NMM so im not sure but in mod organizer, all you should need to do is activate it. Make sure it is checked in nmm

I always thought it was weird that they didn't give you any terraforming tools in the editor. Flattening out the ground seems like a no-brainer, especially as the sandboxing can't cope with slopes, and it plays havok with fencing.
