Thank you everyone for your comments ! The reason I made this mod was because I was sick of the pack brahmins causing annoying traffic every time in the settlement. When I looked for a mod, I liked the idea of Wunderbot's "Proficient Provisioners", but that mod didn't work. I like dogs so I couldn't give up. Unlike the Wunderbot concept, pack dogs do not participate in combat because their job is to carry them.
Version 1.01: Minor fix. For compatibility with "Yagisan's Better Caravans". Loading "Provisioners New Dog" after this mod will work.
Version 2.0: Read the Changelogs for more information.I challenged 4K texture (equivalent to 2K). I'm not a professional so don't expect too much quality Still, it should look a little better than the original.
Yes. But a Brahmin who has already been replaced by a dog may become invisible. By removing the supply line and creating the line again, the Brahmin will be displayed correctly.
I have a strange issue, the Brahmin all get renamed "pack dog" but they still look like brahmin. Any ideas what I should do? This is mod is last in my order BTW.
There are three ways. 1. Using the console, enter "disable" and then "enable" for the target. 2. Dismiss the provisioner and re-employ it. 3. Brahmin dies for some reason. Brahmin respawns as a pack dog.
Okay, I love the idea of this mod, but it seems even loading it in the last load order does nothing. I have this same issued, they are called "Pack Dog" but they are still Brahmin. I tried all three of your suggestions, and nothing helped.
I guess from your comment, it's been renamed "PACK DOG" so my mod seems to work. However, there may be vanilla changes in other parts. I think that's why they don't let you change Brahmin into a dog.

I have no issue with food showing up on commonwealth people. My logic is I'm a good guy who's trying to rebuild humanity. In reality I share and help people. Makes me feel good to feed and shelter the homeless. In real life I'm not a wealthy cap collector but I survive lmao ;)
Do you realize this doesn't work? It's 100% nerfed. I've had this active on three saves, including two clean re-starts, with dogmeat's backpack installed every time. I've played over 100 hours on each save and at no time has a provisioner ever had a dog instead of a brahmin pack animal. I have 11 mods mostly for weapons and presets for player character. That's it. I have no mods that affect caravans. Not one, besides this one. Is this a joke d/l? If so, ha ha ha. Good one. It's broken. But thanks for the idea.
Have you overwritten "Workshop Parents" with another mod ? If you can't resolve the conflict yourself, put the load order last. Then click on the provisioner Brahmin and use the console commands.

Quick edit ** Started fresh new game made sure your mod is behind anything (116) that touches logistics (56, 9, 57) or caravans or dog (64, 70, 77, 83) and same issue.
The only thing I am wondering is if logistics is using the caravan model vs provisioners??
The reply was delayed. I'm not good at English. I'm sorry I don't understand the meaning of the numbers you wrote. This mod only modifies the vanilla pack brahmin (for now).
EDIT: Only change pack docks and some and faction dogs.

It's very old, but I found a mod like this.
