I really like this settlement, it's obvious you spent a lot of time and thought putting it together. I'm curious about one thing though... In the description tab, there's only like 3 other mods you say we need, and that all the rest are optional. But when I click on the Mod Manger link in the files tab it says "Mod RequirementsThis mod requires one or more additional files in order to work properly. Please ensure you have these files installed properly before attempting to use this file." This is followed by a rather lengthy list of Mods. I wonder if all of those mods are required to make this work, or if the description tab is accurate, and I can keep it fairly simple?
Thanks again for what you've done here. It truly is amazing.
Thank you very much for your kind words, and sorry for my late reply!
Technically, you could use this blueprint with only one "required" mod installed. Let me explain… When it comes to blueprints, the term "required" is misleading. Even the mods, which I have marked as essential, are not really "required" as the blueprint would still be loading without them as long as you have ONE ("required") mod installed. However, since I‘ve built all the structures, buildings, etc. by using these mods, your blueprint would be having endless floating items and it would just look silly. The "optional" mods, however, are rather inessential for the blueprint in order to look "good" or "close to the original". For instance, if you wouldn’t download a framed pictures mod, the pictures just wouldn’t show up in your Sanctuary Hills. Cutting a long story short: Nexus lists ALL mods as required, since I used them during the building process. Still, if you don’t download a "required" or optional mod, all what happens is that you will be missing its containing objects. Phew, I hope that was understandable. And please read the descriptions next to my "required" mods and make sure to download the "required" off-site mods as well. (Yes, your blueprint would be loading without them, it’s just my, let’s say: recommendation to let your settlement look as intended.) Oh, by the way, there are 11 required mods in total. I wouldn’t recommend loading the blueprint without them, but it’s completely up to you.
I know that one or two of the mods listed with the Mod Manager link just aren't available anymore. Funny you mentioned it, but the last time I tried to use what I would consider a "complicated" settlement, the building walls never came together, and everything just floated and wouldn't come to the ground. I just wanted to see how simple I could keep it. I'll add the "decor" once the buildings come together.
I certainly appreciate the response, and this is really a well-done piece of work. You should be proud.
You are most welcome! And thank you once more for your compliment! Would you mind naming the mods, which are not available anymore? Maybe I know where they are or can find them, since most mods have just been moved to Discord or other websites.
The only two I can't find, are at the bottom of the list, where the offsite resources are located. Except for those, the links all go where they're supposed to.
The ones I can't get to are: More Vault Rooms V's Stylish Decor That one takes me to Discord, and maybe it's there, but it doesn't take me to a Mod server. I've looked for it and it's probably there... somewhere. If I need them, I'll find them. If not, I won't worry about them.
I hope you don't mind helping a novice Modder like myself, I really want to use this blueprint as I'm a huge fan of Digi-fu as well, but when I downloaded all required mods, I accidentally downloaded the newest version of snap'n build, so I of course received the 60 second error when the blueprint was 75% done, I went back and reread your instructions, saw my mistake, and downloaded 1.9 on a new save, now however the blueprint will only place 4 items before giving the error (##000F4E), not even 1%. I know this is an error on my end for it was my mistake, but I was hoping if you had any incite as to what exactly could cause this to occur, sincerely a big dummy.
Unfortunately, you can’t just "downgrade" a mod, since the newer version has already made changes to your save files. Therefore you should never delete a mod mid-game. I highly recommend loading an older save to before you ever installed or used Snap'n Build and give it a new shot. And never fear asking for help, we have all been novices at some point.
Sadly amount of issues this blueprint has is crazy and installed everything on a fresh game instead of adding onto my 300+ mod list..and 5 times now I have done the import and have gotten multiple saying on the import screen despite they are loaded/working as I can place the objects manually LOL but the import breaks and misses about 10% saying they are missing or the wrong path. I've noticed 3 mods in question have changed the object path or name so maybe this is why as they no-longer match up to the blueprint?
either way amount time it takes to import each time sadly is not worth the hassle let alone having to break precombines with this just to use it and result in to many crashes later.
There really aren't any words to describe this settlement. HO-LY s#*!! All I can say is; Bravo... Pretty insane, and truly amazing. With Bethesda would understand (and have added) some of the things that have since been modded in.. If I'm going to live somewhere, I'm AT LEAST going to pick up all the trash and rubble off the floor. If I'm gonna build something from scratch...Maybe it shouldn't be covered/riddled with holes where the rain gets in! Just little things like that. If It's something you've hermit crabbed your way in to, (you found the place, and used it for shelter for a less than permanent amount of time) then fine...I get why THAT might have a plethora of unrepaired holes in it... But if I'm going to actually long term LIVE THERE... Then yeah, it shouldn't look quite so much like swiss cheese. Anyway... enough of my monologuing. I simply wished to comment and compliment you on such an incredible version of Sanctuary Hills. (or, as you've dubbed it, "Fort Sanctuary - HQ of the Minutemen") I hope to, one day, be able to create a settlement that looks even a tiny percentage as good as this does!! :)
Thank you so very much for this wonderfully written comment, it means a great deal!! I would be so happy if you comment on the update (which will be available in the next few days) as well. *kudos given*
Since Ground (Required for the greenhouse floors) has been deleted from Nexus, is there any recommended replacement mods for the floors? Or will the mod get updated to replace Ground with something else? I have tried finding Ground from whatever dark alleyway i can find, but there seems to be no sign of it.
I’m sorry for my late reply! There will be a mod and description update in the next days. Ground does still exist, you can find it at Discord: https://discord.gg/DGq9n63TZz
Unfortunately, due to the changes with Nexus Mods TOS I am removing my mods from this site. For information on where to find my mods in the future you can visit:
I downloaded all the mods you suggested, when the blueprint is loaded to 76%?prompt“error:settlement import seems to be stuck for at least 60 seconds enadling the item - item #6554 Roof - corner out [##000EEB]” How to solve

Looks like I need to update my description page. Thank you for pointing that out!

Ground does still exist, you can find it at Discord: https://discord.gg/DGq9n63TZz

There will be some delay with me getting everything organised, but that's the site for my modding team so I will post updates there when I have them.
