Why is the silver shroud submachine gun so much darker and rustier compared to the normal ones? Real silver doesn't tarnish or rust

You are thinking of pure silver which doesn't tarnish. However because it's so soft it's not used. If the gun however is made of say sterling silver, then yes it would tarnish. So this accurate.

pure silver turn black with age, it is relative easy to polish away. old house wife method was use ketchup and rag to tub the black off. It is just recently we got silver which doesn't tarnish and it need to be above 92.5% pure but we haven't been able to get it so pure until recently. Also so pure silver are very soft and will be scratched if some one look at it wrong.

At current, with no additional rending/lighting mods - these textures don't look anything like what's advertised. I'm willing to accept "Not knowing that you also need X, Y, Z, mods to display properly' or other instructions. (2k textures used compared to Vivid Fallout - All in one & Optimizsed Vanilla Textures) Till then, here's the side by side - they really look janktastic in an un-modded game:

    Modded:
    Default:

    Modded:
    ?Default:
    ?

    Modded:
    ?
    Default:
    ?

Modded (This one actually looks better than the default):
    ?Default:
    ?
Would love to see the images that are advertised - something wonky is going on. Ex. The silver shrouds machine gun has none of the advertised engravings.

I understand that you want to display the weapons, but using them on the weapon rack actually makes them look worse. They will use a different model than the one that is used in your hands by the player. Try using this https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23566.

      Thanks for that other mod.

Sadly - can confirm - the Weapons look as dull as they do in the world, as they do in hand. So the initial post still stands - this mod doesn't do as what it claims to do, for unknown reasons.

These textures mods are meant to be used with an enb and/or weather mod. I'd recommend NacX and Quantum Horizon ENB

Wonderful work, would you consider compiling your work into an all in one file?

It's a huge benefit to the end user.

Yes, learning how to consolidate and pack your own texture archives with the textures you want is also a huge benefit to the end user.
