A word of warning for those following this guide, there's a known LOD data bug:

Cell block [4, 1] in Commonwealth has the No LOD Water flag erroneously set. Not removing this flag results in a bizarre looking block under a bridge that doesn't have water when it should.

PRP already has the fix, but for those who don't use it, UF4OP 2.1.3 currently doesn't have the fix as of yet but a future build will.

Why do you change the size of far harbor out of curiosity? I see no documention or mention from Seshon or anyone detailing to change the size for far harbor so im just curious.

Just a heads up. 1: The mipmaps weren't ticked off when I started LODGEN (had to tick them off myself because I noticed it in the pictures, but there is no mention of it) 2: What about Far Harbor? you only tick off the four others before generating... + when I activate Far Harbor on its own, the 1024 max texture size automatically carries over to the rest ^^ 3: "No vertex colors" is also ACTIVE when opening LODGEN. Otherwise nice tutorial, I am about to try and generate it :P Edit: Seems to work perfectly, thank you very much! I had black buildings after adding the BNS LOD; this cured that nicely! Edit 2: 4: Buried in a text file in one of the packs you download, there is a note about the .esp's and the load order. FullmodelLOD has to load after the LODGEN.esp :-P which is not done automatically in Vortex either. I think its rather amazing that some of you just breezed through this following those instructions rofl.

Is there an option for LODGen not to remove geometry under water? There is line about it in the log, but no option to turn it off, for some reason. I checked the original bto LOD files and there are rocks and cliffs under water, but not in my LOD. What should i do about it?

Can LODGen not create Occlusion data for Fallout 4?

I am using your Fallout 4 HD Overhaul mod and just recently dropped BNS for your new Summer mod.  Not sure of where to put the summer mod in the load order before I run LODs.  Thanks for any help

if you are using my HD Overhaul and now my new Summer Mod, you don't have to generate LOD. that's already done by me and included in my Summer Mod.

This is not a guide. This is some useful recommendation about xlodgen application setting for user who had experienced it for
skyrim before and don't use  mod managers.

An actual explanation for why one would use your LOD quality settings over the defaults would be appreciated. Perhaps some comparison shots?
