    Great Idea.
    Not enough of an increase.
I was thinking more like 200+ water

Trying to keep things balanced and the issue with 200+ water is that would trigger a larger rate of raids occuring. It also isn't needed except to exploit the ability to sell water for caps to basically create infinite money which I am trying to get rid of with an optional patch that makes water more realistic.

Thanks for the feedback though. Sorry for the delay in response. Been away from modding for the holidays.

Yeah, I'm with you here symbiant1. I managed to build this huge water plant settlement that where giving me insane amount of water to sell, just turned the game into "sell water for whatever you can grab of the traders" over anything else.

So a mod like this that can help remedy that while still making it possible to make money of water, just not as easy, is exactly what I'm looking for!

So my end goal is to change the way water is created to begin with. It will be optional of course but basically instead of getting purified water, pumps will provide potable water. You must then spend plastic, steel, aluminum, glass, etc to bottle it and get purified water. This means you can create a ton of water but you can't sell it without spending mats. I think it is a good balance.

Tried to get this to work before going inactive but I just couldn't get the pumps to provide potable water instead of purified water.

A small thing of note. You might want to rename your pumps by tier. So that they show up correctly in the list. As they show up alphabetically.

Sorry about the extreme delay. Went inactive there for a while. Was waiting for tools to mature.

I will look into the naming after learning the standards for menus being used in the community. Will have to convert this and other mods over to those changes.

If you have suggestions for naming standard, I am open to suggestions.

Awesome mod. I also use your Tiered Power and love them both. Placed a bug report also concerning the Improved Filtration Pump.

Saw that one today. Will hopefully have the update soon since I will be working on my mods again. Finally beat the game.

I love the concept! I am using this mod with tiered generators and it gives a nice feeling of progression.

I do have a question, I am having trouble running power to the automatic water pumps (normally wells but require power).
What do I do for that?

Thanks for passing along the issue. I think I forgot to add the wire connection. I will fix that when I can. I'll get that posted when I can. Sorry for the goof up.

      no worries!
It appears to work without needing to be plugged in. So you may take a gander at that as well. I will let you know if I see any other things pop up.

That bug has been fixed. You can now hook the automatic pump to power and it requires it. Thanks for the report.
