love this to bring the minigun and such in line with the missile launcher for being effected by 2 perks

Will there be a visible damage difference in the damage section of each heavy weapon?

Yes the damage number in the pip boy updates correctly when using this mod.

It doesn't anymore. Mod no longer seems to work.

Its not compatible with the Minigun damage increase mod either, which I found out to my dismay.

Sadly, the Heavy Commando Perk is incompatible with the Better Commando Perk. Still endorsed your mod though, I'll have to learn how to merge plugins.

I've been thinking about doing this just for my personal use, but I'm glad it's already available!

It always seemed like an oversight that Commando doesn't affect the minigun or gatling laser, especially when Demo Expert effects the missile launcher and Fat Man (not that the latter really needs it).

Any chance you would make a version that is compatible with the Precision Aiming addon?

Unfortunately since both mods affect the Commando perk, only one of them will work. A combined mod would be fantastic.

Great idea! I really am glad someone did this because heavy weapons are nearly useless in all but a select few situations. One questions though, just how much easier does killing with the weapons you named become? I don't want to make heavy weapons too overpowered and that is essentially the reason and l hesitant about downloading this mod. Maybe a video demonstration could work for those who may have the same question? Thank you in advance for reading this.

I played around with this mod on for a few hours to test how it felt with the perks at various levels and it definitely did not feel particularly overpowered, especially in the early to mid game when you are using the minigun and flamer. If anything it felt like how i expected those weapons to feel going into vanilla fallout. The only thing that i felt might be an issue is the charging barrels mod for the gatling laser due to the high base damage. If people feel it is too much i can adjust that mod. If you were playing at one of the higher difficulties and felt that the heavy weapons were disappointing i would recommend giving it a try.

I really did want to play a heavyweapon / melee dude this time round. The Handgun + Sneak approach being so ultimatively effective making it hard to not sneak but "kick in the door and do some damage".

I't going to be really interesting to see how this might affect the 'Big Gun' feeling of the Minigun. Thanks for the mod.
