Ever feel like the heavy weapons in Fallout 4 are a little lacking? This mod will cause the Minigun, Flamer, Cryolator and Gatling Laser to be affected by both the Heavy Gunner and Commando perks. At rank 5 of both perks these weapons will be dealing 400% base damage.
This mod can be used in two ways, firstly by putting points into both Heavy gunner and Commando perks you get heavy weapons that feel a fair bit more fun to use. Secondly if you are happy with vanilla damage but are not a fan of the way that the Heavy Gunner and Demolitions Expert stack for the Missile Launcher and Fat Man you can use Commando as a replacement for the Heavy Gunner perk. I have tried to decouple the Missile Launcher and Fat Man from the Demolitions Expert perk but it does not seem feasible until we have the GECK.
This mod should be compatible with any other mods which do not touch the Commando perk or the weapons modified. Feel free to use this mod in your own works.
Installation:
Just drop the .esp file into your data folder in the Fallout 4 main directory and then add heavyCommando.esp to plugins.txt
