By the way, you're Oculus emulating Controller settings (f4opr improvements) are still needed for headsets such as the HP Reverb G2. Nothing would work right on my controllers like before. then I figured it must be your fix which used to be included with this mod. It wasn't here, but thankfully you had it on github. I installed it then picked a HP Reverb G2 (WMR) controller setting under fholger on steam bindings and the good old times were back!
To sum up: that controller modof yours is still required. And thankyou, Sir.
Just saying here for others with the G2 who're stuck.
Back in FO4VR again and decided to reinstall this and yep, it really helps clear things up from that slightly vaseliney filter it seems to have all over it. Now I feel like I'm actually seeing things instead of going ever more myopic.
What exactly does this do? I'm looking at the enabled and disabled images back and forth and I cannot see anything different between them even on a 4K display.
i was confused too, just try it if you havent already. it really is only noticible when wearing the headset, especially when looking at trees and gras.
I struggled at first too. But bounce back and forth between the images while looking at plank of wood. You can see the detail become sharper in the grain. Or the lamp shade on the last set of images.
If you have doubts whether it's working, set it to "alternate" in the config file,on the last option, so the sharpening will cycle on and off every few seconds. It's impossible to miss.
You may need to set sharpness full on to 1, rather than the default .7
Works great in Skyrim VR. However, the author of this mod has a NEWER mod called The Sharper Eye.
Doesn't work for me. Black screen with sounds. In order to be able to see something again I have to set the upscaling to less than 50%. This means that the image (without upscaling) looks even blurrier than without mod.
And honestly... The video shown looks like the usual SKYRIM SE. Taken from the monitor. I don't think anyone can achieve this sharp resolution VR JUST through MODS. This requires a damn good computer, but then you don't need this MOD... If anyone has a solution...
Havent tried that one, but this one does make it better, tho the objects/terrain in the distance can become kind of shimmering/glittering, definitely makes everything more clearer tho
just change your graphics settings to lowest and save. then open the launcher again and then set to ultra or whatever settings you play on. it resets the ini file itself and makes TAA parameters default.

But I'm wondering if the vrperfkit would be better or is this still better for SkyrimVR, anyone know?
edit: (correct me if im wrong but it goes in custom ini ?)
