Personally, they could be the greatest band in the history of music on Earth and I'm not going to listen to just them on a loop. I wouldn't listen to any band on a loop. much less just one genre of music. My personal music collection holds over 12,000 tracks from many genres, bands, nations.
unfortunantly for me it too gives dead air has a fix been found if not dont worry ill just put on the youtube playlist till its is your doing a great job and i love the passion you put into this mod keep at it
One of my new favorite things about Fallout lore is that grunge was never invented. The song on the description page is cool, I love the guitar and drum work, it hooks you from the beginning, but that singing style never clicked with me. I liked rock before and after grunge, but aside from a few singles that grew on me over time, I mostly did not like grunge. No offense to those who do like it (or make it), it was a huge influence to be sure (post-grunge stuff; that is, rock that was inspired by, but is not grunge, is awesome IMO), but it was never something I liked. That said, I'm happy this mod exists, mostly because the band is aware of it and has signed off on it. I'd love to see more mods like this.
I really just hate old timey music. The music doesn't need to be "lOrE fRiEnDlY" to make sense. It makes more sense if the Raiders listened to punk rock then it would Rocket 69.
In terms of recordings, it's all they have. It seems to me (not sure if it's officially stated) that the equipment required to record music has been lost and needs to be re-invented. That said, live music does exist (we see it in The Third Rail in Goodneighbor) and it would make sense for raiders to "invent" punk (since punk was never invented as far as we know, in the Fallout timeline). But, it would not be recorded and broadcast, it would be performed live in raider bars.
Of course, y'all know the real reason Fallout only has oldies: cheap licensing. Star Trek did the same thing with jazz and classical. Star Trek's timeline doesn't diverge from our own until the future, so their world ostensibly has all the bands we have, they just never listen to them. They're all so "refined" that they don't listen to music where people sing, as a general rule.
Just to clarify, usually dead air is a result of not having mods enabled, I wanted to check if y'all have that done before testing further. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgUbpIzdpGY
Yes mod and plug in. I have other mods that add sound files, Depravity, Outcasts and remnants, crime and punishment. No conflicts noticed by Vortex. Could that be an issue?
