    Hello,

I am getting an error after typing the console commands.

Item '1A0008000' not found for parameter ObjectID.
    Compiled script not saved!

    Please advise.

    Did you type it correctly?

    help "targeting hud goggle" 0

then you should see Only one ID, then type

    player.additem ####### 1

where ####### should be the ID you saw, and the 1 behind it should be the amount you want.

    Edit
Sorry, I just found out that I typed something wrong in my description page...

    typed everything right.
here is a screenshot of console

Sorry but like what airbornerangers said, there are some typing errors... Gotta make sure your spellings are correct and the mod should work fine.

You typed in 1 too many 0's after the 8. The item code ends with 800, not 8000.

Would love to have a set of goggles with toggleable night vision. Is this even doable?

      You can try this
Night vision goggles and night person tweak by GreenIsTheBest (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2291/?)

You may want to change the how to info to "say targeting hud goggle" 0
As I'm sure some people will never think place the E with U

Any chance of a variant designed as a monocle?

It wouldn't have to be this creative but of a similar nature.
I'm pretty easy, I'll take no for an answer haha
    Great work, by the way.

Thanks for your work on this mod !

Does this target only enemies? I've seen some targeting mods on the site but it was mentioned they see/target all life iirc.

    Thanks

This mod targets all life, but there is another mod called "customizable targeting hud" that lets you set an option to only illuminate hostiles. Set this mod first in the load order, followed by the mod I mentioned and it will work on these goggles as well.

It targets all life, just like what the power armor does.

And yes, you can download the customizable targeting hud, just put his plugin After mine and it should do exactly what you chose during his installation.

There's another mod that does the same thing but the effect persists even after the mod is uninstalled and doesn't seem to be removable. Have you tested to make sure this doesn't happen with yours? Not trying to be a jerk, just wanted to make you aware of potential issues.

I've tested this one and the effects are removable once you unequip the goggles.

I've tested the game with the goggle equipped while engaging hostile enemies, did both quick save and normal save. Exited the game then resumed both save games with the mod uninstalled. First, the game would notify you that some contents were no longer available, I clicked yes. Second, the effect is gone as well as the goggle too. So I'm not sure why the effect would still exist. Sorry if this isn't a big help.
