Hey ! I'm using a few of your mod and has recommended, I've installed jet bug fix. But it seems it's not working, my character is thirsty even thought I'm not playing in survival mod... Any clue ? Here the list of your mod I'm using https://imgur.com/a/tJL6MvN
edit : Nevermind, it was a bleeding effect at 100% and I had nothing to heal it :')
im not using an76 it started when i installed NPCs Use Items, i just installed this fix with it also at the same time, ill test without the fix, since im not on survival.
The bug for some reason is appeaing even though im not playing on survival mode.
Mod Organizer says that this mod overwrites the unofficial patch. Does the unofficial patch already fix this or does it do something else, in which case: does this carry over the changes?
Indeed, you are right. The unofficial patch overwrites that script, but it does not fix this bug. The unofficial patch, does something different. It adds a difficulty check, so that the script only fires, when the player is on survival mode. Makes sense. I will add that, to this fix.
You don't have to use the Unofficial Patch. It has what many debate are personal preference or unhelpful changes. Clean it also. I submitted a list of errors it ads to the game. That was then. It may not have errors now.
Indeed. The unofficial patch is not only bug fixing. It also "fixes" things that are more preference than anything else. It also breaks precombined meshes for some areas. I'm using it too, but I tweaked it here and there.
Ignore this...it took only a few moment to look it up
Sorry for the dumb question. but what happens when a precombined mesh breaks? how will I know when I'm looking at it? (I haven't modded since NV and I'm just getting back into it)
Depends on the area. But an area with many objects will bring you from 60 FPS down to < 30. Like Boston Downtown. You can check that with the console command: tpc If you enter it, it will say: Preculling as have disabled. or something like that If you enter it again, it should say something like: Pre-culling enabled.
If precombined meshes for the current cell are fkd, because of a mod it will says: Pre-culling enabled, but disabled for current cell.
So when you feel, you have in an area extremely bad FPS, test it with tpc
Oh you should totally tell the unofficial patch guys about this, I'm sure they'd want to add this fix into their mod as well ope posted it twice, guess this ones just gonna exist now since you cant delete comments for reasons not yet understood by man
