It might be a conflict on my end but i had a major bug using this mod in my load order.
Having this mod installed caused every save to have a ticking time bomb injected that would after a while break reloads on every gun (in 1st person) when storing grenades in containers, sleeping or placing an item in settlement mode.
it took me days to find the issue and lead it back to this mod.
I don't believe so. If I remember correctly it works based on aim type, and if you changed a gun to grenade aim type it wouldn't work...at least I don't think it would.
I personally have it bound to "{[", whatever that's called (to the right of "P"). It's not used by default by anything I know of, and is out of the way enough that it'd be hard to accidentally hit it.
I'm not getting an arch in some buildings, Gunner Plaza and fed supply cache near Sunshine. I can change colors no problem. I tried both mcm and made a settings tape. I have Grenade Expansion Pack 2 and Mad Bomber(https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41515) installed(latest versions of both, and esl for mad bomber). Is there supposed to be a menu item for the arch?
The arc is just the same arc that is given to you by Demolition Expert Rank 2 perk, except my perk gives it to you from the beginning with no requirements. I'm not sure why certain buildings would effect it. What is it that you are trying to throw? If the item wouldn't provide an arc in base game it won't provide an arc with this either.
All grenades are affected, vanilla and mod added.. I tried looking into things with fo4edit, but it is over my head. My pc is 82 and has all explosive perks. Will try disabling some mods, and see if I can find anything.
Ok, added a cancel throw option. Requires MCM so that you can assign it a hotkey. Press the assigned hotkey while you're holding down the throw control, then let go of throw control. Only problem is it will only work in 1st person. Looking into how I can remedy that, but no promises.
No, just grenades. But, if you wanted to include mines you can open the mod in FO4Edit, go into the "Smart Grenade" perk and change any conditions with: "Subject.HasKeyword(AnimsMine [KYWD:000E56C4]) = 0" to a "1", and change it from "AND" to "OR". You also would need to find the various Object Effects that are attached to mine explosions (like cryo/plasma/pulse and nuka mines) and put those Object Effects into the Formlist.
With this time is slowed when the Arc is shown (even if set to invisible) and removes slow time when whatever control you have bound for Grenade is released (default on keyboard is L-Alt I believe). So it...might work with a controller? I'm honestly not sure and don't have a controller to test it.
If you test it, please let me know if it does or doesn't work.

Is there any way to add grenade arcs to grenade launcher-type weapons?
I'm suspecting that the game code doesn't allow it, but thought I'd at least ask :)
Turns out, my keyboard doesn't like hitting "F" and "Alt" at the same time.
It took me about ten grenades to figure this out.
Note to self: Get a keyboard with N-Key rollover so I don't have to bind weapon bashing to "G".
Thanks for the idea!
