Adds a few things I wanted for my own grenade throwing needs. Requires F4SE.

Everything can be toggled either via MCM or through holotape.

If you don't use MCM for whatever reason, the holotape is craftable at chem station under "Utility".


  • Slow time while throwing.  (Thank you tghsmin for the idea from their Easy Grenade mod - and for letting me adapt the idea.)  Slow time also has a toggle-able action point cost.
  • Add grenade arc always.
  • Change grenade arc color - or make arc invisible.  (Default Green, Orange, Red, Pink, Yellow, White, Blue, Light Blue, Purple, Invisible)
  • New in update 1.1 - Smart grenade option - Prevents your own grenades from damaging you, or optionally you + friendlies **
  • New in update 1.2 - Cancel throw. Only for MCM users and will only work in 1st person.  Assign a hotkey, press that hotkey while you're holding down the throw control, let go of throw control.  Easier than opening Pip-boy/Pause Menu/VATs/etc. - at least in my opinion.  Will also optionally play a sound when the throw is cancelled.
  • New in update 1.3 - Option to force first person when "cooking" a grenade. Will switch you back to third person (if you were in third person) after the grenade is thrown (or throw is cancelled using v1.2s "Cancel Throw" hotkey). I find it much easier to throw grenades in first person, and helps with the 1.2 "Cancel Throw" ability since that is first person only.


**A 'friendly' is considered to be a NPC that is not currently hostile with you, and whose faction is either friendly or allied with you. 
Also prevents typed (magic) magnitude/duration caused by grenades whose explosions have a Object Effect attached (Cryo duration, Plasma/Pulse/Nuka grenade magnitude). Script also checks for Grenade Expansion Pack 2, and adds support for the grenades included in it.  I only added support for GEP2 because I use it, and it uses some of it's own added Object Effects.  I don't think there are many other mods doing so, and none that I'm acquainted with - so if there is a mod that you use that you know uses its own enchants for new grenades, you can add them to the Formlist in this mod - they will be Object Effects (Enchantments) that are attached to an Explosion record.

Does not prevent damage/radiation done from certain hazards, such as residual radiation damage from Nuka Grenades.
