Expect a heavy dose of updates for the first couple of days as I fine tune. Changelog will reflect any changes to already added Leader Cards (Which is unlikely), and the Article will be kept up to date a list of all available leaders and their traits.
I appreciate all the feedback and encourage people to continue offering it; that being said, for the time being I will not be attempting to incorporate other mods (Tales from the Commonwealth, Settlers of the Commonwealth, Recruitable Settlers, etc) until I am pleased with the base level of game improvement my original creation offers. Once the original mod reaches a stable point and is filled with enough modified vanilla and original content to satisfy that requirement, I will begin looking into incorporating the unique NPCs of other mods into my system.
Version 2 will be out by the end of the weekend and, barring some sort of major setback, see some big upgrades. Of note, however, is that some of the existing leaders will be changed and, for lack of a better term, downgraded. I've determined that not every leader needs major traits, especially in the cases in which none of the traits make sense. I am examining trait-renaming as a way to make more sense out of some of the leaders having them (One example: Food-Rationer being the same mechanical trait as Expert Hunter, lowering food requirements for settlements by 25%) as well as looking into fully custom traits, but those can be a slippery slope as far as game balance goes, so I would not expect those until a substantial amount of development testing has been done.
Mod doesn't seem to be working for me. I check for optians of mayors, but no Abernathy, no Finch. Nothing. I use SS2, not SS1. Do I need any other mod? Or do I have to load an holotape?
Love the look of the mod but like many others apparently whenever I try to appoint a leader I'm told no unique leaders are available - which is what it was saying before I tried the mod, so I'm leaning towards a SS2 issue not this mod.
Not keen on starting a new game to test at this point, but definitely bookmarking it for next start.
Mama murphy as a mayor? If you build her chair mama murphy cant have a job or entertainement assigned. If you gave her a resident plot she keeps that though....
I would like to apologize to everyone who has supported or used this mod for my lack of attentiveness to the mod's needs. I'll spare you the details, but life simply got in the way. I am going to do my best to make the fixes I have previously mentioned in the near future and address recommendations and suggestions. Thank you for all of your patience and thank you to everyone who has given this mod a shot thus far.
that sucks if you're correct. that mod also has a dependency, so if i want this mod i have to download 2 more? if so, that is an automatic boner killer for me :(
EDIT: just got the leaders to populate in my city desk without that other mod you suggested as a dependency. so it seems that this mod does not require any other mod besides ss2. the ability for the city planner desk to populate the additional leaders that this mod provides seems to be limited to wonky fo4 engine (like others have already described).
I am having a problem where the designated has to stay in this settlement leader, like Blake Abernathy, can't be assigned to their because he doesn't "live in one of your settlements". Also, the leader goes and stands outside the boundary of the settlement. I think this may be the other leader mod's glitch. Sorry.
I loved having a mod like this for SS1, especially with its own original NPC's to use as leaders. I know Mr. Jacobson at Drumlin Diner is being worked on, but I wanted to know how we're meant to use the vanilla NPC's that have been upgraded to mayors. For example, people like Jun and Marcy Long, or Blake, Connie, and Lucy Abernathy. These NPC's can't be moved from their settlements, but they do come up as candidates for mayor in other settlements. I've noticed problems where assigning a leader that isn't already in that settlement will cause them to be automatically unassigned from the city planner's desk after a short time, though the management menu still recognizes them as the leader. This is exacerbated by the appointment not doing anything to move them to the settlement, as well.
Yeah, I've noticed this problem too. I think it contributes to the appointment list not populating properly down the line. Either way, it's a bit flakey.
Hi great work, finding a few extra leaders is handy, now this may not eb something you can do but is it possible to have the leader go to the settlement they are leading? or tag them as already leading at a place?

Also the following mod has just been released and appears to supercede this one:
SS2 - Nobody's Leaders 2 at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)
Good addition for more leaders:
Sim Settlements 2 - Recruitable Settlers Leaders Pack 2 at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)
