There's a few grammar errors in the description. Mostly because there's no space before a question mark, exclamation point, period...etc. Example: What ? What it should look like: What?
Checking the mods files and esp in FO4Edit there doesn't seem to be any textures for the X01 Armour included in either version of the mod download and in either esp there is no construction data or material swap for the X01 Armour. So this mod can't apply Institute Paint to that Armour as the Mod Author has forgot to include it in the Mod.
Based on the findings of @cwattyeso above, I've looked at the mod this evening myself, and using FO4Edit have created a fix to resolve the issue of not being able to apply the paint job to the X01 Armour. I have uploaded the file as a mod found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/33817?tab=description
All you need to do is download it and let your mod manager install it and overwrite the original ESP from this mod. I haven't included any textures or assets from this mod, so you still need to download and endorse Invock's mod, this is a just a fix. If invock objects to me uploading the esp file, then I'll happily remove it at his request.
Unfortunately, it appears that this mod doesn't work for me. I installed via the mod manager provided by Nexus, chose the option for it to still require the completion of the Institute questline for the paints to unlock, and started my game. On the T-60 (and presumably all other power armors) I have the option to use the Institute paint, but this option changes nothing from the default look of it. This is rather inconvenient, given how excellent the mod would look to be, so I would hope to hear a response soon.
Thank you for this mod, was really dissapointed that the only way to get a nice clean paint for PA you have to side with the institute, with this mod not only do I don't need to do that, but I can also take the insignia off. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/images/78380/?
