Nothing like checking out a guide only to find that half the options I need to change don't even exist on my end.  :D
    Oh well.

Hi and thanks, seems it does stabilize the game, even though it  can run on higher fps rate, when v- sync is totally disabled (in all ini files and so on). Of course, in some places, especially inside of all buildings, fps rate goes almost wild :) Specs- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7- 6820HK CPU@ 2.70GHZ, Samsunng 16.0 GB, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB, 128GB+ 1TB. It's a laptop with 75.005 Hz refresh rate. Or should I take some other measures to make the game 100% stable and smooth? :)

Your laptop may not be G-sync or Freesync compatable. while it is also a laptop it will also be choked on performance too so i think locking it to 60fps (59) would be better to reduce some strain on the graphics then trying to over achieve those 15 extra frames not noticeable to the eye.

Luckily, based on my own experience, I can say it may play nice 'out of the box', without any trick or mod :

    - Monitor ViewSonic 144hz G-SYNC compatible but NOT CERTIFIED by Nvidia.
    - GPU RTX 2070 Super

Using the 'optimized' Nvidia Experience settings, my FPS range is 90-144 Hz and the game is smooth like butter.

Yeah that is a different scenario. This guide is strictly for Freesync capable monitors. I'd assume NVIDIA Experience sets up G-SYNC properly. I'd assume G-SYNC not certified by NVIDIA still counts as G-SYNC?

It is a Freesync monitor, but the manufacturer say it is "GeForce Driver G-Sync Enable-Ready".
Whatever, thanks for helping the other players.

What CPU do you have? I you don't mind. Impressive performance.
I myself have a 2060 super and I'd assume the performance isn't that different (maybe 15% difference max). And it's true in most cases, though I get extremely low FPS in Boston and in some other places, it dips to ~ 35 frames sometimes. I think it's the CPU that's bottlenicking the GPU since the GPU almost never goes above 40% when that happens.

      I have a 3700X.

I know you weren't asking me but I have an RTX 3070 and an OC i7 10700k. I still get drops to 48-50 fps on Ultra with mods (no ENB though) in Boston (like Garden Terrace etc.). Otherwise I get 200+ fps everywhere else at 2560x1080p.

      CPU 3700X
      RAM 32Go
      I play at 1440p.

A few mods : UOFP, SS2, Better Sorting, CBBE and some armors, that's all.

I have just started a new game with this rig. I'll tell you about my performance when I visit Boston.
