I'm a little unclear on how to get these 'portable Logistics Desks' to work. I'm running SS2, and I can build the desks manually and drop the boxes to make the desks appear in settlements as well. But for some reason I can't seem to assign Lucy Abernathy to be a Logistics Desk Worker? Is this an issue of compatibility or am I missing something obvious?
There is an (Unmanned) desk at Red Rocket Gas Station, a Manned desk at Sanctuary Hills, and I built a desk at the Abernathy Farm but while Lucy will light up with a Vault-Boy icon in her employment slot, the Desk will still insist it has no employees in the Workshop overlay.
EDIT: I'm in Survival Mode and using the Survival Options mod to tweak it as well, if that makes a difference.
Oh, I completely forgot there was a forum tab... Nexus doesn't give notifications for stuff here. It's possible that Lucy Abernathy just won't assign to some things. There are a bunch of named NPCs (and a few unnamed ones, like generic Minutemen at the Castle) that don't handle assignments properly, or just keep coming unassigned every time you look away for five minutes. Most reliable are generic Settlers spawned in via a recruitment beacon, also a good choice are Automatron bots.
