Just got back into FO4 and I gotta say that I love the mod, lightweight and compatible, but I got a quick question, is this mod compatible with other mods that add NPCs to the game as long as they don't add their own body part data? I might have answered my own question, but I just got back into modding.
This question is for anyone at this point, or for anyone who knows about the basic functions of FO4Edit.
I think the reduced multiplier for various robots in the base game is to incentivize the player to shoot for the other limbs, as robots do different things when you blow their limbs off. Increasing that multiplier might be harmful to that aspect.
Anyway love all your mods, specially for Enderal :)
I Really like this kind of lightweight, simple designed mods. Thank you for your work. I have a question though : Which line should I edit with fo4edit to increase the head's damage multiplier to human/raider etc...
Hey, glad you like it. :) Unfortunately, I don't have FO4 installed and therefore I can't look up the exact entries. But there is a body data entry for humans and there are several entries with different body parts and one of them is the head. Tweak the value related to the head body part data.
Thanks man. I managed to tweak the values with your guidance, it was simple enough. I tested it ingame and everything works fine, i can pop heads like balloon now. Again, this mod is a nice alternative to BLD if you don't care about the loot and gameplay mechanics. It save you a ton of script memory I guess. Cheers.
Yo. Thank you for mod you've made. Endorsed! Also i wanted to ask you some thing about this mod: Does player's character takes more damage by others NPCs with this mod than in vanilla damage balance?
Good lil mod, I like its simplicity and not having to patch literally every gun/armor I have. Also easy to play with in f04edit/xedit to tweak it to how you like to play. Endorsed <3
Can ghouls be specifically make as zombies. As in difficult to damage limbs and torso but rewarding to aim for the head. It will pair well with Zombie Walkers mod.
I don't really get what you're asking. Do you want a compatibility patch for Zombie Walkers? Chances are that the mod uses vanilla body part data and that it is compatible.
I really appreciate and enjoy your approach to making your mods very simple and compatible. Much kudos to you.
PS. I saw on your Discord channel you're working on a weapon mod balance. Waiting for that one with anticipation. Would you consider making a mod addressing removal of health scaling for player and NPC's ?
Thanks for the compliment. I need to disappoint you but it was another user that said he works on something like that. I'll consider adding your request to FGT.
The things I do want to do however is a combat AI overhaul and some sneak changes and a mod that includes all my FO4 mods with some additional changes. However I'm currently not working much on my mods but that'll hopefully change soon.
Better Locational Damage has a ton of features and with LDO I wanted to keep things light weight but still effective. It can be an alternative, it's just a different take at locational damage.

The player is affected by the changes to the human body part data.
