Ruined homes and gardens take a trip to hotfiles with SS2 and the rest of the day 1 addons in good company! Thank you to everyone who have downloaded and given thumbs up to us all this week! It in inspiring to see this much love from the community and that is what drives us to make more updates and content for this game!
New version causing CTD when starting new game. Wasn't there with old version and its on a freshly installed and modded game. Dunno why, but I thought I'd share.
Edit: Nvm, it seems there's a larger issue thats triggered by me enabling this mod or similar mods. Not sure what. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It could be any number of mod interactions unfortunately... we try to be as compatible as possible when it comes to other large mods but can only do work on our end to ensure compliancy. I thoroughly test updates on new and old saves, so not sure what would cause that. I am sorry that is happening for you though :(
Can not Download. It says "This code is usually caused by an invalid request, maybe you followed a link that has expired or you lack the permission to access it."
Will the new version be easy to upgrade from a previous version during a playthrough? About to start my run and would like to add the new version when its released.
Yes, Sim Settlements uses version control for addons, so the system knows when it needs to refresh an addons content. So there should never be a situation where an ongoing playthrough gets corrupted by an updates. I am sorry for the delay but been very busy, never enough time to do all the things I want to do haha
I absolutely love this mod! It's been one of faves since way back in the SS1 version. I'm wondering if you have any plans (or if time/life allows) to add Advanced or High-tech versions of the farm plots?
Thank you very much, I am glad you have enjoyed the mod! I currently have two new corner junkwall martial plots done and have incorporated my old industrial revolution greenhouse plots in as advanced hi tech versions of farm plots. I also have plans for a few more variations of the 3x3s I did for the core mod. I just have a few things to finish up and I plan to release them very soon!
Ever since I Updated sim settlements 2 to 2.0.0h and added sim settlements 2: chapter 2 these no longer show up and my settlements have empty plots with random stuff floating in them (This is also the case for wasteland ventures). Does anyone know how to fix this?
I believe there is an issue with SS2 un-caching addon pack buildings, but I am not 100% sure atm... I do know someone is working on it, so hopefully it gets resolved. I don't believe that the buildings are corrupted or anything, SS2 is just not loading the stage items correctly.
Either way, I didn't change the filename or any of the folders, so its fine to uninstall the old one and just install the new one, its not a new file or anything. I have been using my own files in testing, so I have no idea why vortex would do that, sometimes it does weird s#*! like download two files that are rar format instead of 7z and neither work
thank you, i am glad you like them! I was thinking of putting an advanced farming plot with the specialized veggie choices, like we have for the 3x3s but I always wanted the raised bed to have a mix like a backyard garden, but I really should put out a list to show what grows on what plot, or update the description, but i can't remember anymore i will have to look at the code! haha

Is there a list somewhere of what exactly the ag plots grow?
I recently came back to fo4 and I'm trying to get my glue farms going in SS2 ?
