Right so to fix the bug where he gets stuck in the ground, just simply resurrect him after he has been repaired, seems to me as if the game doesnt like him being dead then resurrected
does anyone know how i can find ede ref id the game seems to have dismissed him to a far harbor location and i havent started far harbor yet so id like to teleport him back
I am using Liga my companions and have taken him on as a follower using that mod. So far not one problem with him working. I think the AI in Liga is overriding his normal follower AI and it has, so far, fixed the normal glitches such as clipping into the ground.
I installed using Vortex. Not sure if it's worth trying to install using Mod Organizer or if it will be just as broken. Heartbreaking, as I truly did want ED-E as a companion in game. This is assuming of course that he still does what he did in Fallout New Vegas by increasing your perception range on the radar. That said, my issue with the mod was that the Sentry Bot spawns on top of him and the Sentry Bot is entirely broken. The only thing it responds to is hacking and the only way to remove it is to self destruct it. ED-E is essentially a limp ball on the ground, and there is no way to interact with him. Perhaps there is a command I am unaware of, either console command or otherwise, but there is no way to interface with him normally in the game. I deleted the mod. I will now outline what I WOULD expect out of an ED-E mod. 1. Make the mod compatible with the robotics workshop DLC and allow players to create and modify ED-E using this station. 2. As I said before, it is important that ED-E gives the same bonuses and has the same capabilities as he does in New Vegas. I wouldn't be against making him more modifiable but that should be the bare minimum. 3. Additionally, the ability to just make regular eyebots at the robotics workshop wouldn't be bad as bonus content. Nameable and modifiable. 4. Just need to make sure everything runs smoothly. No serious bugs. Can't be game breaking. It looks as though this mod has been abandoned by it's creator, so I'm not sure that this feedback will be taken into consideration but perhaps someone else will come along and give us a working version. EDIT: I spawned ED-E in Apparently he's called Eyebot in the id's list in the console until you pick up the note
