I was having the same issue with this as well. Crashes when you go to the container section in furniture. I have come up with a solution for this so that you can use it with Workshop Rearranged and its simple. Go to your load order not in Vortex I just did it in game and find the mod. Move it to the bottom of your load order past Workshop Rearranged so that this mod will load before Workshop Rearranged and the CTDs stops. I have done this with other workshop mods that Workshop Rearranged wont show in the menus sometimes if theres no patches for them like Rebuild - Modular Sanctuary Pre-War and Post-War Build Set. Move it past WR and they work.
Game crashes when i get into the furniture category, and move a few subcategories to the right, this started after i installed this mod, im sure its due to mod conflicts, but i have no idea which mod can cause this, any help?
As soon as I upgraded the mod from 2.1 to 2.2 I had the same problem. I don't think it's Workshop Rearranged, because I've had that in my load order forever, and had no problems with Workshop Framework Displays 2.1 running with it.
However, I do have a mod installed called Workshop Framework Displays Organized that moves all of the display cases from this mod into into it's own submenu under the Decorations menu, rather than having them scattered throughout the Furniture menu. I suspect it may need to be updated to reflect the changes 2.2 made in this mod. I was going to disable it to test my theory, but I'm in the middle of a play-through and disabling it while leaving this mod enabled, cause the game to crash.
So for the time being, I'm leaving Workshop Framework Displays Organized enabled with version 2.1 of this mod...
If anyone is using Workshop Framework Displays Organized the author of that mod Babaloo321 just released an update to work with version 2.2 of this mod - he says it might stop the CTDs but he hasn't actually tested it.
I will let you--and Babaloo321--know if it works shortly....
The shame is that I was able to play with this mod on and now that I got a new game, with no new mods, it's crashing :/
Was a great mod
Edit :" Using Choochoo1's Workshop Framework Displays Integrated " has stopped the crash but I only got 3 basic cases and can't find the rest of the mod :(
I have still yet to be able to duplicate the crash, i know the author of that mod said he had hidden many of the items as they did not suit his taste. I am also not sure of that mod is still up tondate or useful as the items were.moved into a seperate build menu years ago.
I woupd need to know exactly what you are doing that is causing the crash because at this point I have euled it as somw sort of mod conflic that I have enever been able to figure out.
I'm getting a bug where if I put a valid item into a display object, it auto adds back into my inventory. Basically all the displays are doing this aside from the single display heavy weapon cases. It's lead to much frustration to where I want to just uninstall because it's being so useless. Also, with the misc storage stuff, a majority of the misc items clip through in some way.
Edit: Perk mags are also falling of the display rack. Please fix. I even tried updating workshop framework and that didn't change a thing.
Having the same issue. Perk magazines are constantly disappearing off the display. Unfortunately I lost the magazines and can't get them back. Also had the same issues with the rifle shelves losing weapons after a while as well. It's unfortunate. I like the rest of the mod but the two racks I use the most are causing the most grief. Love the mod but would appreciate a fix in the furture.
Oh man, i can't wait for your new update next. Btw, what is your idea? that would be cool if you add something like fridges that could show foods or bevereges item (like functional display did), and cabinets that could store ton of junk or ammo boxes (Armament).
I tend not to discuss my projects as I dont want people to be disappointed if it doesn't work out. I will say ammo is likely not on the table as it would display each round individually and that would be a performance nightmare
Your mod is great! I would like to see a huge bank safe as an object where you can put other furniture from your mod, or shelves like a small safe where you can store precious metals. And it would be nice to have fresh versions of some of the models, without rust and broken glass. Thank you!
Wanted to post this here as well for those that plan to use Babloo321's organization mod for this mod. This mod and Babloo321's mod needs a small tweak in order to work for 2.2 in 2023. This may be a good tutorial for anyone who has not had much / no modding experience. The tools I used for the fix was Mod Organizer 2 and xEdit /FO4Edit. I ran FO4Edit through Mod Organizer 2 to optimally edit the Framework Displays 2.2 Mod and organization mod. After opening the mods through FO4edit, I located the specific culprit/Editor ID that was causing issues (which can be found under "Constructible Object"): cho1-Holotape-Display-co. the "Form ID" for this object on my end was 020305b, but the first 2 digits and second to last digit may vary based on a post by aufisch. From there, I removed this object from both the Framework Display 2.2 mod and the organization mod (located under the same folder "Constructible Object"). I then exited FO4Edit, thus saving the newly edited portions of the mods, ran the game, and saw all of ChooChoo1's items neatly under Decoration > Display > Choochoo1 Displays.
Special thanks to aufisch for pointing out the troublesome asset, Choochoo1 for the original mod, and Babaloo321 for the organization mod. Highly recommend!
Note: I installed Choochoo1's Workshop Framework Displays Version 2.2 from 2/2023 and not 2.2x from 4/2023. Cheers
Sorry, but I do not have a console to test it or the want to have to maintain an entire separate mod page. I barely have time to mod as it is. let alone trying to also make sure it all works for console.
