I'm almost having a game 'breaker' with this mod :( . . I love it and would hate to NOT have installed BUT . . it seriously needs a patch to OMIT GUARDS! :) ~ and I have learned it's better to seperate 'settler' settlements, and 'military' settlements anyways for MY future playthroughs, but my present playthrough has them mixed together so oh well . .

most of my 'mixed' military/settler settlements have NO problems with this EyeExam mod, but i found a couple which have unique guards behavior . . I removed the Phoropters from the 2 settlements which had peculiar guard behavior so all is good everywhere

Thanks for otherwise hundreds of wonderfull mods :)

Version 2.2 of the ESL file does not have audio for me. The settlers would have the subtitles of their lines, but no sound. Only when I switched over to the ESP version 2.2 file did I get the voiced dialogue.

That's interesting. This mod doesn't contain audio files, the vanilla files are used in both ESL and ESP versions. They're in one of the base game's archives actually. What happens if you place the ESP at the top of your load order? (ESPs load after ESLs, ESLs load after ESMs, so maybe the ESL doesn't working for you due to a load order issue).

    *** updated 1 year later :)
all of the problems i saw with Eye examiners clipping into floors disaPPEARED completely in a spanking new playthrough this is an awesome mod :) thanks..
    ONE tiny little query though?
I don't think Unique Settlers spawned with the "Old Voices" have Phoropter dialogues lines?
I just stuck old Clint Eastwood with a Old Man voice and he doesn't speak the lines :(

Yes, it will count as a new installation. By the way, Transfer Settlements can export and import them with no issue.

Yes, you can't select certain objects to export. But you can edit the blueprints as they're in .json, human readable format. Might be a bit time consuming though..

just can't keep up with you..
this is amazing.. I got a coupld of these but have never assigned any settlers to them yet so I don't know what to expect 'vanilla wise'

    downloading now... PS? :
(I spent like 2 hours building a barber shop for my all girl companion settlement.. hoping they would get some happiness from a haircut... I have a settlement with an assigned barber I specially 'looksmenued' up just for them :( but I have never seen neither a settler NOR one of my companions sitting in the barber chair yet :( so next time you see those barber chair/shop codes
    please remember this?)

    thanks

Thanks. An assignable Barber Chair sounds interesting. I might be able to do that.. I'll see what I can do.

good then i will convert to a 'supporter' :)
end of month, man it's a long month...

Cuz I was thinkin.. drag a team of girls through heck clearing the commonwealth... then when you bring'em back to civilization (a home settlement with everything) first thing girls would want to do is go line up at the um, parlor..
but I guess we only got barbers thats okay, but can MOD companions get happiness from it too?)
