This looks very promising, but by your description I'm assuming it won't be compatible with Horizon? I believe it changes some component requirements for weapons modifications but curious as to whether you think it would work...
Updated : I just downloaded to try out the newest edition of Horizon. It has so many new and modified items and it's own balancing that my mod is not needed. It's very immersive. It has a whole different perk system, so even if I can make a horizon patch for my mod, it's not going to make it more immersive.
Old Response : Unfortunately Horizon does change components by my understanding of it. I used to be a huge Horizon fan, I love the ideas it has. Although because it does change so many aspects of the game, most of other mods that are made won't be compatible with it, including mine. Since I'm also passionate about testing things out, I ended up using Better Locational damage for general balancing instead.
However, there is a possible option to make it work, which is a patch where it combines the Horizon components with my mod. Although that would take a really long time just to do that one by one. If I find a way to some how able to quickly merge a patch, I will see what I can do. Or if anyone has any knowledge of how to do that quickly, please let me know.
Thank you! This is a mod I've been wanting a long time. I never understood the logic that you can make a perfectly good rifle stock for hunting rifles and some high precision scopes for your pipe weapons but making a wooden stock for your shotgun is all of a sudden beyond your skills. I am no master craftsman but I bet in real life I would have a grater chance of making a functional shotgun stock out of scrap wood instead of making high quality optics using broken bottles and scrap metal.
Good point, I did not think of that. I will see what I can do. Thank you for asking and checking out my mod!
Updates : - Ha...I guess I replied too fast, just saw your edit, let me know how things work out for you!
- I just did a real quick check on the differences between replacer and add new scope. MSMPR(my mod) shouldn't be effected by it. It should work either way.
- I'm unsure what's causing the missing master. Although, now I see the same issue. I will reply again when I find the fix for it.
I have just uploaded a new patch for see through scope add scope only. It should solve your problem. Just download the main file you need, and than the patch as well. I really appreciate you letting me know about this issue, and enjoy the mod!
Good Job! Think this'll be a staple of my load order now, ..nice logical application of the perks, that will make taking perks more useful, but also looting good mods off enemy weapons more of a reward. Thank You!

Never mind... I just realized that the See Through Scopes mod hadn't installed properly so I fixed it and no missing master now.
