Somehow it cased a CTD on a 3 mod fresh install of the game that was an hour old, repeated the process 3 times over and got the same results. The process was I fired a gun, game crashed. V sad.
Might just be my INI file being trash after all these years of reinstalling.
EDIT: Well no, no it wasn't this mod, this mod works great. It was just a new laptop and fallout 4 being a Bethesda game, on an RTX that... Crashes when debris have physics... Because Bethesda...
this mod is amazing! unfortunately im getting pink tracers with a handgun and green ones with miniguns. Plasma is weird with too much flares...itsl ike watching JJ star trek. I got some mods on that make smoke for guns and other things and mess with the tracers. I assume they are not compatible and the pink tracers are missing textures. The green ones for the minigun though why? anyway im just reporting this.
This mod is absolutely amazing! I'm a little bummed more people have not seen it, I will be advocating for it from now on - an absolute game changer in terms of "realism", pin pointing where enemies are firing fun, and lets face it: gives a Star Wars feel to the game that should have been in the vanilla version. Thank you!
This will fix the issue, since Spitfire + Hollywood tracers overwrites the standard bullet tracer. You'll still get the effects from ILB for energy, explosives, etc.. all in all, it's a fix that requires some extra set up. But works.
I could fix it by using FO4Edit and changing the projectiles "tracers" and "light" files. For some reason the mod creator seems to have changed all of the ballistic weapons to green or pink. So I changed all the tracer files from "Effects\Tracers\1NewPink.nif" or "Effects\Tracers\1NewGreen.nif" to "Effects\Tracers\1NewOrange.nif". Then I changed all the light files that were "AARifleLight_P [LIGH:01003D42]" or "AARifleLight_G [LIGH:01003D42]" to "AAImpactSpark [LIGH:01002676]". With the exception of the minigun, which I changed to "AA_Artillery [LIGH:0100173A]".
There's a lot of different options to choose from for the light files, so maybe there's better looking ones. I just didn't have the patience to look through them all.
The changes work for any ballistic weapon, below assault rifle, without a suppressor. The suppressor seems to be giving the pink light effect. Does anyone know how to modify that effect? I've tried under Projectile10mmSupressor, but it doesnt seem to work, so I am guessing its another category? Pipe pistols oddly work fine with a suppressor

Like, I love what it does, but it's just...a bit much.

Install this mod/Improved Lighting Ballistics first.
Then install Spitfire
Then Hollywood Tracers (spitfire edition. Scroll down in the optional files. ONLY install that version.).

To clarify these are the steps to fix this bug, install the following mods in order:
1) Improved Lighting Ballistics (ILB)
2) Spitfire (Enhanced Muzzle FX)
3) Hollywood Bullet Tracers (Spitfire) <<< Found in the optional files section, don't download the main file.
