UPDATE TO 2.0 - ADDS 2X THE JUMPING HEIGHT IN VERSION 1.0 WHICH IS IN THE OLD FILES. VERSION 1.0 ONLY ADDED ABOUT 60% JUMPING HEIGHT - OR THE HEIGHT OF A SHIPPING CONTAINER.
2X JUMPING HEIGHT OF THE VERSION 1.0 JUMP HEIGHT WILL GET YOU TO THE TOP OF A VAULT TEC TRAILER OR LEDGE OF A SANCTUARY HOUSE. (WHICH IS ALMOST 4X VANILLA JUMPING)
HESITANT TO INCREASE FOR YOU ALL UNLESS AWARE OF FALL DAMAGE - IF YOU USE SUCH MODS AS TUCKERED OUT, ETC.... YOU WILL BREAK YOUR LEG - I KNOW, TRIED IT...
APOLOGIZE I DIDN'T REALIZE I HAD POSTED THE LOWER HEIGHT VERSION 1ST.
HOPE YOU ENJOY AND HELPS YOU BUILD.
IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS TO MAKE BETTER, LET ME KNOW. JOHN
I adore your mod. I tend to like settlements with places and things for the people. I just have one request. Could you make a version without the generator? I already have Better Generators 10x and that's really all I need.
Aside from that, jumping is fine as long as one remembers to give equal falling distance bennies for those getting back down off the rooftops!
Place Better Generators or any other preferred generator mod after this to overwrite the generator I have added - to take care of the needs of settlers till you get there.
Thanks so much for this mod! This mod is one of the key reasons I am starting a new play thru. My last game I was at level 75 by the time I made it to the Railroad HQ for the 1st time. So, yes I like to build settlements a lot and with all the cool settlement mods out there why not.
At one point I stopped building settlements because the amount of XP I was getting seemed ridiculous and excessive, once again thanks.
The original file should give you no xp for workbenches. This should include clothing if its vanilla items. It might be an added mod that might override this?
You could try doing a vanilla clothes and see if you get xp. I don't get any. Just make sure last in your load order. Doesn't change anything but the xp stuff. Mods after it might make overwrites.
There is a separate command to increase fall distance before you start to take damage. It is my humble opinion that anyone using a jump increase mod should have their safe fall distance be at least 150% their jump distance in case they accidentally pull a Superman Intro (Leap tall buildings in a single bound). Besides, if you can jump up and land safely why in the name of his hockey sticks can't you jump down?
I like the no exp but the jump height and other gameplay tweaks should be a separate file. The only thing I care about is not having exp when I build and leveling up to 40 setting up sanctuary.
