Good effort but I have to agree on the redundancy, sorry. Without multiple shifts, this makes guards 66% functionally inept. Again sorry. I always love modders even if I don't agree with thier mods. Thank you.
You may have a conflicting mod that overwrites guards' AI. If the mod conflict is on record-level, FO4Edit can reveal it. If your settlers' AI has been overwritten remotely, FO4Edit won't be able to show it, you would have to use logging to get specific AI information.
The funny is iam looking for 24/24 working time settler, cause they always leave the guard spot or chill place i set and they get very long time to get back
I released a "Settler Debugger" recently that can change many settler-actor variables, including working hours. Note that it won't make every settler work 24/7, only the ones you call the function "SetWNPCWorking24Hours" on.
This made me think that it would be cool to have a new night-shift nocturnal guard variant. Although I don't know if it is possible, I asked around before when I wanted Automatron Assaultrons, Handy's, and Protectrons to periodically go and deactivate in Protectron Pods as if to power up and check for firmware updates of whatever, weekly or fortnightly.
I don't see any photos of typical guard "MATS!" With all the scripting and coding involved.. that you did.. I sure hope you didn't RESTRICT EVERYTHING TO USING THOSE BARRICADES?

The only thing this mod does is that it modifies the AI Package of settler guards so that they can sleep at night. Since every guard uses the same AI package, this mod is compatible with mod added guard mats. However, it doesn't add any guard mat to your game.
I would love it if there were 3 shifts for the guard rotation where the guards would switch out at each shift. Is that posable to make it so you have enough guards assigned to each settlement to cover the number of guard posts you have at each one?
You can assign assaultron at different positions for the night shift. My main base ins on spectacle island and I have assaultrons and sentry bots guarding the whole island lol. When an attack happens they take care of it with a quickness.
This is a big step in the right direction. I always hated assigning guards because they walked the line 24/7. Well except Garby But you need two guard shifts, or better three. Raiders, mutants and blah blah don't keep union hours.
I think this is why beth made settlers change outfits periodically and supply line settlers too so it appears that different npcs are doing different things without actually making them do those different things.

" This has never happened in my game. I use the Don't Call me Settler mod,(no longer available) so they all have names. I assign them armored clothing and better weapons.

If you use that mod to equip settlers with it's automatic supply line sharing thing, it bugs the game basically resetting all NPCs on load. Settlers will wear different clothes each time you visit a settlement and work assignments will be jumbled as well.
Also, I think regular settler work hours are from 7am to 8pm.
