Kind of experimenting to find out for myself, but is it possible to use the prosthetic hand and wear gloves? I'm trying to play around with body slots in FO4Edit, I'm just wondering if it breaks animations to change slots or anything like that. If I find out for myself I'll try to come back and leave a note for others.
Well, a total pain in the arse later, I succeeded in making a single glove for my Pip-boy hand. This involved changing the armor slot on the glove in FO4Edit, deleting the right hand side of the glove's meshes in Outfit Studio, and fine-tuning the mesh so that it fit properly over the left hand included with the prosthetic. (You need to keep the left hand on the prosthetic hand mesh if you want the glove to be removable separately.) If you prefer, you could simply add a gloved hand in place of the left hand on the prosthetic hand mesh; you'll always be wearing that glove if you have the prosthetic hand on, but you'll save one armor slot.
Now for the big question - how do I make the prosthetic arm and hand unremovable so that they always stay equipped when I shower, etc?
Hi. In the bottom left corner there is a button called "batch build". Just above it is a box you should tic (i can't remember why, but tic that box). Click batch build and it builds the outfits you have (with a bodyslide) to your current body preset and slider settings.

Or a T-800's right arm.
(althought I like your version too, but in a wasteland setting ... with synths all around... )
i only seem to find arm prostetics for the right arm and not the left one
