Address library is now updated to the next-gen update of Fallout 4 (v1.10.980). A LOT has changed in this update. Please listen to Boromir and know that this new bin is not enough to automatically load your old f4se plugins. It's going to take a lot of work from all authors to update to the latest version of Fallout 4 (if they even do). Please do not harass them.
yo, I restarted my game and suddenly got this error about it being outdated
"F4SE Plugin Loader (0.7.2) A mod you have installed contains a DLL plugin that has failed to load correctly. If a new version of Fallout was just released, the plugin needs to be updated. I use MO2's F4SE but downloaded them manually into F4SE's plugin folder, I tried using the All-In-One file and the file at the end of the optional files, nothing seems to work, any help would be appreciated.
pretty sure you have to go back and reinstall an older version of the mods that came up in the error codes. Like find HighFPSPhysicsFix version thats for your version of the game it being the updated or if your running 1.10.163. Hope it helped
it doesnt give me any message, but it seems that High FPS Physics Fix isnt loading with F4SE, possibly because of the Adress Library but not sure. Maybe because of the Physics Fix.
I had never modded this game before. When I simply put the zip contents in the Data folder I kept getting the outdated message. What worked for me was checking my F4SE log files and seeing it look for plugins at my game install folder Fallout 4/Data/F4SE/Plugins . I put the .bin files in there and it worked on launch.
This mod isn't working on my end and if it's not working than baka framework isn't working and if baka framework isn't working than the base object swapper isn't working than the mods that need the base object swapper won't work themselves. I have all required mods and programs for this mod to work so not sure on why it isn't.
I use the GOG version, after 2 years of not modding the game. I noticed that all MOD's, which produces a F4SE folder and a Plugins sub folder. In [drive letter]:\Modding\MO2\mods\[mod subfolder]\F4SE\Plugins\ Need to be manual copied and pasted to [drive letter]:\Fallout 4 GOTY\Data\F4SE\Plugins\
Looks like you didn't bother reading the comments, before making your post. If you had, the very first/most recent post+reply you would have seen, would have given you the info you're looking for, lol. :D
Yes, laziness is a real thing. You might be passionate about creating something, but at the same time, you might be lazy about doing the paperwork.
I experienced this myself when I was working on my thesis in college. I was excited about the practical part of the project and completed it quickly. But the theoretical part? I hated it. I was so lazy that I didn't do it for months.
This isn't a criticism of the author (although I am also frustrated because I had to look up how to install the thing), it's just an explanation of how someone can be lazy, even if they have done something nice.
I'm apparently supposed to use this in order to use the updated Silent Protagonist mod... Is this going to bork all my other mods, or does it only effect mods that previously required these libraries and haven't been updated?
I'm sorry, but if you know enough to come here for this mod specifically, odds are you're using a mod manager or downloaded other mods, so you should know what to do.
I just bought F4 GOG today. I disabled updates in Galaxy and am staying on pre-NG 1.10.163.0 Transitioning away from Steam was easier that anticipated. Address library will pick the correct version. I added the optional file.

put this s#*! manually into the data folder
dont install it with mod managers
Don't assume people know what to do with this sort of thing, especially when you're uploading a .bin file with literally nothing else attached to it.
