Please bear in mind: The way your lawns, trees, rocks etc look, will depend on whether or not you have installed any texture replacers/add ons. The pictures of Ver. 1 are all vanilla - except for Sanctuary - Reworked roads The pictures of Ver. 2 includes Fallout 4 Seasons as well. On top of that I use a slew of texture replacers for rocks, water, building parts etc etc. But this is all purely cosmetic. You know how your own game looks. And what kind of replacers/enchancers you use yourself.
After responding to your other post, I was pleased to note that this was the first Sanctuary blueprint I downloaded (and used).
At the time, I downloaded 1.0 because Sanctuary Lite is not on Nexus. However, it is available on Bethesda.net. https://bethesda.net/en/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4221958
Maybe on a different playthrough I can try 2.0.
I like your blueprints (I just downloaded a few more to try in the future). They are well organized and well thought out, and certainly make up for my lack of settlement designing skills.
One thing on moving the workbench. Place Everywhere doesn't seem to work as was suggested by Jenncave.
I found a mod that doesn't mess with workshop crafting called Workshop Workbench Marker https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14046 and was able to move it outside the door with no problem.
Thanks again for all your efforts to create this blueprint.
Thank you very much Pica With these blueprints I've been learning as I go along. Unfortunately quite a few mods I used are no longer on Nexus. I'm happy you found it in another place
I'm running version 1.0 and I was able to scrap all houses but 3: the one with the workbench, one kind of across from that one, and the house in the cul-de-sac Codsworth goes into when you first meet him. How did you remove all the houses?
Hmm - that's strange. I nver heard about that before. And I've never had that issue either. I always use Scrap Everything. And I've scrapped Sanctuary more times than I care to remember. The only issue I have is the dope dealer's desk. For some reason I cannot scrap that one. Instead I use console command "disable" - and it's gone. You can do that on the troublesome houses. I hope this helps.
How your flora will look is dependent on if you play vanila or have installed some kind of weather/flora/fauna mod. The leaves/grass in question is because I installed Fallout Seasons This is summer. It looked like in the "Version 1" pics before I installed Fallout Seasons. I'll make sure to mention it in the description.
Hey, I love the mod so nice work on that - thank you! Ive tried many on xbox, now on PC and enjoying this one! Just one question... I seem to have clipping between certain areas, for example - the paths to the front doors, in front of dogmeats kennel the grass/bushes go right into it and general overlap of some textures. When I compare the front of my player home to the screenshot of your player home (Version 1.0) the image isnt the same, its not as polished looking as the mod screenshot, any suggestions? I used Sanctuary lite to wipe the area before BP as seen you said it could be used and wasnt just for Version 2. I dont have any other mods to overhaul sanc apart from your suggested mods & already got a pretty tidy Vortex menu as only started modding F4 on PC today.
I have noticed that when loading in the blueprint the only option is Slot 12 (version 2)? cant seem to find slot 2 (version 1) to load in & cant find it from the file location folder in my drive - so maybe I'm un intentionally loading the Blueprint for version 2 (slot 12) and version 1 is missing??? Appreciate any suggestions!
Hi Ryan. Thank you for your kind words. Much appreciated Re. The blueprint slots: Version 1 is the old file and goes into slot no 2. Version 2 is the new main file and goes into slot no 12. Download and use only one of them. The old file was my first try at doing Sanctuary this way. I used Sanctuary- reworked roads for improving the roads somewhat. I don't know if it improves the roads when using "Sanctuary Lite". To be honest it is one of those mods I totally forgot about because it is always there. I've got 400+ active mods with 336 active plugins running. Thus my pictures just might be slightly off. Such feedback as yours is thus very valuable to me
Hey, thanks for your reply! I decided to use Version 2 and realised I have had problems due to V1 requirements/scrapping/prep work. V2 for me is a lot cleaner and tidier and now working well with reworked roads off as per recommendation. Vortex still had it enabled somehow, so made sure all was set as recommended and tried to reduce the amount of mods that interfere as much as possible - its all good now and much more like the screenshots with minimal editing to do! Loving my new Sanctuary for first playthrough on PC.
hello! i am very excited to see this, however i am missing something, after installing all required mods, and installing this one... ll that happens is an empty sanctuary...any help would be appreciated. thank you.
hi so I have a problem with this (probably something I did) is that only the metal boxes appear. If I did something wrong please let me know because this looks amazing
Hi Atroix. I'm sorry to hear that. Can you be a bit more specific please? The metal boxes are vanila. Everything else - including the lockers in the bed room- is from the "Easy Homebuilder and working doublebeds" mod - which in itself is dependent on "Wasteland Workshop". I just went and checked the dependencies. You should need nothing but the vanila game and Hosza's mod.
the home builder is installed and in the workshop but when I try the blueprint it "says" it builds the houses then the furniture but the houses arent there
This is really strange. I DO have an awful lot of mods in my loadorder. But I just checked Easy Homebuilder in NMM and F4SE. And it IS only dependent on FO4.esm and DLCworkshop01.esm. I guess you DO have the DLCworkshop too? I just made a new character - fresh out of the vault- to do version 2.0. The new pics will tell the story. I installed "Sanctuary Lite" even before leaving the vault and came up to a nice flat - and fully scrapped- Sanctuary. I loaded the blueprint and the houses popped up - though the workbences stayed in the street where Jenncave put them. But the furniture and containers were all there. I don't know if you're up to giving another try along those lines? Maybe download "Easy homebuilder" again and drop the files in your data folder manually. I know it's only a couple of ba2s and an esp but...........
This looks great. I look forward to trying it out next play-thru. As an alternative mod, you could use Crimsonrider's mod, Obedient Concord Group, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22829 which does the same thing.
Thank you Al - and also for the link I've tried different mods taking care of the hammer scourge. But none of them have worked very well for me. All of a sudden I ahd to go scrapping/building all over. That's why I made the guide. But I'm a big fan of Crimson, so I'll give it a try next time around.
This looks really cool! A common complaint I have with blueprints is that they do not take into account the look or personality of the settlement they are built in. I too use Easy Homebuilder for Sanctuary, and I've been debating starting a new game. Perfect timing!
Thank you very much Takurtz I've often built a few pre-war houses in Sanctuary just to get a really nice looking base. Not to mention a player house to die for I thought I'd try to go all in this time, using Hosza's mod and map as inspiration. This is merely meant as the most basic groundwork for what - I hope- eventually will emerge.

Does anybody know where else to find it?
