Allegedly the author got angry that other people where uploading mods based around the Scar weapons systems. So he took down all of his stuff and rage quit (again that’s the rumor)
I will say straight away that the ease or difficulty of making these patches is almost always decided by the base mod. Sometimes it's simple, other times (see the G3 family patch I did) it's a lot more in-depth. So I could do a general guide, but it wouldn't work for every mod out there. That being said, if you have a specific weapon mod in mind, shoot me a message and I'll walk you through it as best I can! I'd be thrilled to see another person posting New Calibers patches on here.
EDIT: What I was trying to say here is that mod authors structure their mods differently. I (probably) can't use the method to patch an asXas weapon mod on a NovaFinch weapon mod, because they design their mods differently. So basically, I could make a very general guide which may or may not end up being all that useful, or I could spend a lot of time trying to make something more comprehensive. I lean towards the latter option of the two, but I just don't have that sort of time right now. So yeah, if you have questions about how to make a patch and you have a specific weapon mod in mind, shoot me a message and I'll walk you through it (as best I can). The patching process can actually be pretty easy, it just depends on the base mod. Consider this a standing offer, though.
how do i make these Barrel sets ect? Can not find how to.. nothing shows up in Chem station? So i shall disable this until i can actually find how to acquire these conversion kits / Barrel Sets/ to make these calibres.
^^ What he said. AWKCR adds in two different workbenches - Armorsmith and Weaponsmith. Once you craft the weaponsmith workbench, there will be two options (they're always at the bottom of the list for me, your experience may differ): Barrel Sets and Conversion Kits. You should get all you need from there. Beyond that, most vendors will actually carry those parts, I believe, and you can always use the console to "cheat" them in. For example: open the console, type "help (receiver type) 4 misc" - e.g. "help 7.62x51 4 misc" - and that should show you the item code for both the barrel set and conversion kit. Then you just do "player.additem (item code) (number of it you want)".
