So I'm doing a Minutemen playthrough and went to go add a bayonet to my laser musket, but nothing shows up in the weapons bench for them? Is the load order important, or am I missing something here? Edit: Just now saw the same issue and the fix, sorry about that, it won't let me delete this though, feel free to if you can, sorry again!
Do you think it would be possible (without the GECK) do make bayonets for energy weapons that look like Rippers? Seems like it would suit them better. Plus a railgun with a little chainsaw at the end of it sounds awesome.
Yeah, that's kind of my issue with it as well. Fortunately it doesn't look too terrible. I made this more to see how fo4edit worked than anything. Perhaps I'll have time to learn how to deal with .nifs one day, but this whole "sell my soul to the government" thing eats most of my time and energy.
It shouldn't conflict unless the other author changed the musket's keyword, which seems unlikely. I'm not going to be at my home pc for another 10 or so hours, so I can't check.
Just a stab in the dark here; I'm reading this as though you're not seeing a muzzle slot at all. Ensure that you are using a 'bracketed' barrel.
Yup, that fixed it. Thanks man, I always thought it was weird that the 'musket' is one of the only guns NOT to have a bayonet, so I really appreciate this mod.
I just tried out our mods together, and it looks like they play nicely as-is. All I did was make the mods reference the rifle, rather than change anything. You're free to do whatever you want with this, though.
