I've uploaded an updated file which adds a stagger effect to explosions. I haven't got the chance to test the effect in-game, so please leave some comments about how it's working. Thanks!
EXACTLY what i was looking for! For the life of me i could not find a mod that would do this. Much needed because why the hell can a regular npc raider take a missile to the chest and not die or even be knocked back!?! thanks for this mod
This mod is great, but the VATS glitch causing your game to soft lock because of the camera glitch is an issue. Just make it so players cannot be knocked down while they're in VATS and that will solve the problem. This mod would be perfect.
If anyone uses FO4Edit, just add a condition to the EK_KnockDownEffect under Magic Effect.
Help, it wont work for me anymore, I really like this mod back then but I recently started Fallout 4 again and for some reason this mod no longer works in my game
Is there any chance we could see this but with guns? Getting shot IRL will likely result in you on the floor even if your body armor stops it, would be nice to see that in a mod. Atleast for knocking down enemies this way. There exists such a mod but it is implemented as a change to the weapons. If you could implement this as a perk instead so that it works with modded weapons without needing a patch would be superb.
I've never been shot, but everyone that I know who HAS been shot always told me about how even though they either felt it impact their armour, or didn't feel that they were hit at all, and were usually still standing, (Adrenaline is a powerful thing) unless it was in the leg or whatever.
Overall, I think that until you and I have actually been shot, we should generally stay away from making a definitive statement about what getting shot IRL would do to us.

Is this compatible with knockout framework?
Explosions are the most realistic way to knock someone unconcious
...or, if its very complicated to make it play nice with Horizon using wyrebash or xedit?
