Because of all these changes it'll most likely be released separately as a redux, now that I know there's a large enough market for this. This mod was more of a dipping my toe in the water kind of thing, was always planning to expand on it.


One of the things I wondered about when I entered the Institute for the first time was where do they make their legion of doombots? All these Gen 1 and 2 synths, yet the Robotics division only contains the gen 3 sludge pool machine thingy. To remedy this, this mod takes the abandoned Old Robotics wing and turns it into a factory for Gen 1's and 2's, while also expanding it to accommodate plenty of workers. As a result, expect fighting through there on your way to destroy the Institute a tad more challenging.

  • New door placed in the Robotics Lab
  • Synth workers populated throughout the facility for upkeep and manufacturing early generation synths
  • Quarters for both the unnamed Institute Scientists in the interior as well as the ones in the main Robotics lab
  • Cafeteria for the scientists and synths with a food vendor like the one in the Institute Concourse
  • Greenery and open space to combat the insanity that comes with living in an underground bunker with no natural sunlight

Compatibility
I'm unaware of any mods that make any changes to the Old Robotics interior, but if there are they'd likely cause an issue or two. The only other cell modified is the new door added to the Institute Robotics lab, but I encountered no issues running both the Phase 4 and Hilda Hughes mods alongside this one, as they also add doors. I'll probably make a Project Valkyrie patch in the aforementioned redux, I'll just have to add a door in the replaced robotics lab.

Known Issues/Bugs
I didn't have any problems completing The Nuclear Option quest with the mod active, but I always appreciate having some others to corroborate.
