Ah, the cash register. The first thing many people get acquainted with on their first job and a staple of day-to-day economic transactions. If this were a heist movie, this would be the centerpiece of the first robbery. There'd be a young hotshot thief scouting a small mom and pop store, looking to make a score to fund his next big hit. He looks like a young Patrick Swayze. Probably has a girl back home who cares deeply about him but detests his line of work. "Just one more hit, Roxanne," he says. "Then we'll be soaking in the sun in Cali." He strikes the place and everything seems to be going to plan. The register attendant is nervously shoving cash into an unmarked bag while being held at gunpoint. The store is empty and Roxanne is running the getaway vehicle just around the corner. Suddenly, an off-duty cop walks in. He reads the situation clearly. "Alright buddy, hands in the air!" he shouts. The thief grimaces and makes a split-decision. Does he surrender? Or will he cash it all in? In his heart, he already knew. He siezes the bag and bolts around the aisle. "Stop, dammit!" yells the officer. The thief bursts through the back door and into the alleyway, making a beeline to the getaway car. He's almost home free. His dreams of Roxanne and California are just around the corner. But just as he crosses the street, a speeding car shoots out. It hits him, cutting through his dreams like a knife. The last thing he sees is the bright blue sky as his body swings out from under him. His mind goes blank.
He wakes up, his vision blurry and his head feeling heavy. His eyes settle on another sitting across from him.
"You're finally awake. Walked right into that Imperial ambush."
Anyway, cash registers in FO4 are a great place to find pre-war money.

This mod replaces the vanilla cash register with a far more higher quality model.
It also files your taxes and tells you it loves you. Nah, I'm just kidding but could you imagine?
And that's it. That's all. It doesn't take an .esp slot. Don't use it with any other mods that edit cash registers or they will constantly bicker at each other and give passive-aggressive remarks. If this somehow breaks your game, I'll be astounded.
No, theres no post-apocalyptic-rusty-wear-and-tear version. We cleaned all the rust out and made it squeaky clean, just for you. No, there's no retextures either. We ran out of paint.

This mod is DONE, which means there won't really be any updates for it beyond bugfixes and such.
If you want to make your own edits for personal use, FO4Edit and Paint.net are all fantastic free programs which will get you far.
Since the assets were freely provided by an outside party and not made specifically for FO4, we can't add new stuff.
Suggestions/requests will usually be ignored since we already get a lot of them from our friends (and we ignore them too).
As with anything, please take pictures.
