only recently started using "Useful Crank" myself. I always thought it would be overpowered but the time spent between reloads and the weight of the laser musket is balancing enough. thing can weight up to about 20 pounds when you have it modded into a proper death laser and you always spent time reloading it.
It seems to me that the original idea for having a crank on the laser musket was to charge up a dead energy cell in the first place. Otherwise, why have the crank? Why not just swap out the cell after every shot? I truly believe that "Useful Crank" is how the weapon was originally supposed to function, but we all know Bethesda...
This mod is really fitting with fallout's attitude. Is it possible to limit this sound effect to JUST one musket rifle? I think this would fit perfectly as a unique laser musket as opposed to replacing all the laser musket sounds.
That'd be neat. Maybe with the legendary effect where it does double damage if the target is at full health, or something. Or a gun that has the bloody mess effect attached to it somehow.

Sure miss Futurama but thought Disenchantment was fun for a change, the medieval theme too!
Everyone should grab the Laser Musket model replacer from here too: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44177
I use it with the Useful Crank mod so that charging the gun does just that, instead of needing ammo.
