I know I'm late but...... you probably know glitchfinder and his mods already, if not check them out, he's definitely one of my favourite modders, check out "people live in satellite station Olivia" and go from there, have fun
Oh and definitely install his Spam mod 😁👍🏽
Edit: if anyone knows Mods similar to this please share your wisdom, I love a cluttered world in fallout
Since you asked for suggestions, I might as well put in my useless, opinionated, toxic two cents.
All this food you've added would've be eaten by survivors of the Great War long ago. No doubt about it. So why not lock the place up tight and find a way to remove the Ferals and Minutemen bodies...? I mean sure. They're supposed to be there as a small part of the Minutemen story, but nothing's saying that they couldn't be in some other location instead. Surely there's a way to do this without causing issues as I heard the comments warn about... but I hear a lot of pessimism and can't-do attitudes when it comes to that sort of thing. Modding is a ridiculously complicated, limited thing that requires a lot of testing of mod lists to look for any grating conflicts and then resolving them. It should only be done once and at the beginning of the file unless the changes are merely visual replacers. I get it. I'd just like to see a more realistic approach to adding all this food... if possible. :')
So for now I've voted for this mod to have the "Not Lore-Friendly" and "Unrealistic" tags I'm sorry to say, though I think it should still have the former tag if for some reason my suggestions are used.
sorry for not replying to your question about using my mod in the pictures. I almost never visit this site anymore so thats why i was so slow in getting back to you! You have my permission and blessing! this mod is a great idea also! kudos to you my friend! !
That salisbury steak could've been filled with preservatives and chems to the point of no return. Plus why's there radroach meat? The super duper mart didn't have any non-feral customers for 210 years.
Theres minutemen found there. They could have tried to find shelter there and started collecting resources and bringing them back to that location. The ferals outnumbered them soon after.
Thaumic, the canon understanding of Ferals is that their brains are stunted/rotted by radiation, they lose a lot more of their humanity. They do carry out vestigial aactivities, however. One of the stockers that went feral, for instance.
That said, things like Brahmin meat may actually be long, long preserved beef. I do recommend that food be drawn from the leveled lists for placement on the shelves. That way, people with things like Shallow's Snacks would find a few Foodle or what-not.
I like this idea. You need to be careful about future plans to "revamp" anything, tho. If you move anything vanilla, it could break something. Sadly this engine can be very delicate this way. I once moved a cardboard box under the overseer's desk in Vault 111, and the gear elevator exit turned invisible in game. Test, test, test.
