I installed and even when I do the "bat unsnap" and then go into the workshop, concrete walls are still snapping. Help? Am using Place Anywhere.

Yes, f1 does nothing in 2022,  might be because of some other mods i use like work shop framkework or sims 2 settlements, but F1 does absolutely nothing.

    THANK YOU!!!

I read old commands about F1 to F4, but that really does not do anything in 2022, for me that is.
    This little gem works perfect!

But for those who do not see it work,  please make sure!! THAT YOU DO NOT have a building piece already in hand WHEN using the command bat snap or bat unsnap,  because you will see the command activating , but it remembers the status before you choose the building part.

so, Place walls , snap snap snap,  got a corner to work on?   CANCEL your next wall, so you got nothing in hand to place,  THEN open console and do the bat unsnap,  and then choose a wall part again, and voila, snap is gone!   Need it again?  CANCEL whatever is in hand,  go console bat snap,  and then select a piece again and snapping is back.  ( no need to leave the building interface)

    Great working tool! thanks!

This isn't necessary. f1-f4 gives you various toggles on/off for various types of snapping. I have place everywhere but I gonna try without it and see if that's not even necessary.  Literally discovered this by accident like 20 mins after I started using this.

Maybe an update has been added to change this in fallout, I know a lot of ‘place anywhere’ mods have this feature as part of the mod but this mod was made for day one fallout 4 and it definitely didn’t have that feature at that time, it’s just a simple batch file I had created after reading how to do it on a helpful cc commands forum, it was made for me to speed up the command and I just thought I’d share it,

Cannot believe I've lived without this for so long. Snapping always bothered me. Minecraft let you edit everything and even though I love crafting in FO4, it felt so limited. Thank you for this!

Just dropping by to endorse this and say thanks. Simple, effective, can't conflict with anything.
Recently restarted an "added spawns, added damage, reduced loot, etc" survival run which means rebuilding settlements and OCD tendencies which means rebuilding them ALL. Now my walls actually work the way I want, thanks luv

Perfect, I was only using place everywhere mod for the snap on snap off function (snap on - snap off , wasn't that a Karate Kid line ? ) anyway it seems FSE needs a version update as of today and no longer functions for me.

My point is , Thank You, this saves me .

    Edit: endorsed

no, it wasn't, the line you are referring to is/was wax on - wax off
