People that are experiencing crashes while modifying it, if you are using the new classic holster mod unequip the item while crafting it. It being equipped seems to cause a CTD as I'm assuming the holster mod is unable to keep up with the changes.
is anyone else having the textures 'drifting/trailing' behind the weapon as you move... not sure how else to describe it, as i move around the textures almost seem to both 'move with' the weapon as they should, AND leave behind a trace of it causing the weapon itself to look blurred as it pretty much has its own textures overlayed several times at a slight off-set.
EDIT: found the issue after i noticed it on ALL weapons, my own, followers, enemies... everyone had this, so i went back to googling. turned out BethINI had turned anti-aliassing to TAA which was the entire cause, so reverting that back to FXAA and it's fixed.
Great mod but when i'm on 3rd person i can't move backwards. Its fine with the weapon holstered or in 1st person but on 3rd can't move backwards and sometimes when i draw the weapon my character starts walking reaaaally slow. I can fix the slow walking by swapping weps but not the movement issue on 3rd person. Btw im using the RU556 animation.
I find the accuracy of this weapon incredibly lacking for some reason when I play with it. To solve this I use ECO Crafting Overhaul, add the gun options and then up the accuracy and range. That makes the gun perfect for me. I love this mod.
I'm finding a lot of the lower rail attachments in third person are clipping through the hands as if the attachments are just a bit too far forward. I wonder to fix this maybe is to move the weapon itself need to move back a bit in the hands or just move the lower rail attachments back a bit to stop it clipping. This clipping problem is occurring when using the 11.5 and 14.5 barrel options and it seems more prevalent to me with my female character.
It is quieter and it is a different sound, and its not a pffff air gun noise noise that most weapons mods make, suppressors lower gun shots by 30-50 Dbs it doesn't turn them into airguns, so I always emulate that in my weapon mods.
In the configuration and role I intend to use this weapon in I don't need a suppressor - a simple flash hider works fine. The sound is a low pitched sound which is pleasant to the ear. It's not a deep bellowing sound like a 50 SMG, but it's near that frequency.
If I had to use a suppressor, I simply couldn't use this mod - not without wearing earplugs inside my headphones. The sound is a high pitched clack - too high pitch for my comfort. It's the sound you'd hear if you WEREN'T wearing earplugs at the range - that is the problem.
