Hey, people! 0.1.0 is now Available but I just noticed something... With this update there's support for the KSHairdos mod by adding 2 hairstyles from the mod to the list of Hair to grow. The only issue so far is I forgot to add the new Hair to the Scissors Menu. So, if you are on the Final Stage of growth "Butterfly 098" and want to cut it down to the 2nd last stage "Cloudless" you'll have to visit a Barber. Otherwise you can only cut it down to "Elegant" (3rd last stage.) and wait for your hair to grow to "Cloudless"
if a mod like this could allow you to choose what hair is reserved for which stage of growth in the same way let your hair down does it, I would be so happy!
Hello, I had an update idea: On the home screen, the player would choose 4 or 5 stages of hair and beard size according to the hairstyles they have, the vanilla ones and the ones downloaded through mods, that way the mod does not need to automatically recognize , the player himself will select which type of hair and which sizes are most similar to the type of hair that the character has.
When you look at the scissors wherever you dropped it, it should have an option next to "Take" that either uses [R] on Keyboard or (X) on an Xbox Controller
The only thing missing is a separate timer for hair and beard growth. I would really like to be able have my beard grow faster than my hair. Otherwise, thise mod works like a charm. Well done!
Sounds good! I'll try to get back into the GSH files at some point and make the Beard growth separate! Hopefully I'll also do the Script Extender version by then
I got a ton of mods installed so im sure its something on my end but for some reason when going to start a new game I get an infinite load screen with this installed, can you think of anything that this may conflict with?
No mods should conflict with this mod. This Mod is almost Fully Scripted. One thing I do know is usually when I get an Infinite loading screen it's when I'm starting a new game with a lot of mods. But, if you're not starting a new game and you're just loading an existing save then I really wouldn't know what the problem is.
I've narrowed it to this mod starting an infinite load screen on new game as well. I've read that mods trying to call a script during a new game sequence can cause that freeze by basically asking for something that hasn't be instantiated yet. So it's not a mod conflict problem, but a new game + script mod problem, specifically.
I'm no expert, but hopefully this helps and informs.
This is a problem unrelated to this or any mod. At times, when starting a new game in Fallout 4, even fully Vanilla, there will be an invisible pop-up you need to press in order for it to start. Pressing E or Enter will confirm the pop-up, and a new game will start normally.
I am planning on releasing a mod i've been using in play-thrus that goes well with hair growing mods and I am looking for a hair growing mod to promote as going well with mine. I like that yours has been released recently. How is the stability of your code? Is there anything unfinished?
If Grow Some Hair was installed and another mod switched to a different hair HeadPart, then would Grow Some Hair regrow (i.e. sequentially switch HeadParts) to a final longer hairstyle HeadPart?
Hey, Sorry for the late response if you need a faster response you can message me on Discord R3z Shark#7340
When my Mod reaches the Final Hair Growth Stage it won't switch any Hairstyles any hair before that Stage may be switched to the Next Stage of my Hair Growth.
I may not have Updated the Mod in a bit but I can always Update it and the Code. Maybe see if I can add some Mod Configuration Support for custom Hairstyles to be switched on the Different Stages. Wouldn't know how though.

I will fix this in the next update!

In Skyrim VR it's difficult to get past the main menu if a mod's message box pops up and that's a problem for Skyrim Zombies I also have to fix...

Thanks in advance for your answers.
