Just Follow the Manual Recommended Installation. It just Simple and works. Thank you!
For Linux Users who use Steam / Proton, ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/377160/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My\ Games/Fallout4/Fallout4.ini
-----------------
1. Edit ini file ~$ cd ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/377160/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My\ Games/Fallout4/ Edit Fallout4.ini
2. If you wanna make it read only, ~$ sudo chmod 444 Fallout4.ini (Or Perhaps 744, 644 might also work)
3. Load the game and play!
This is for terminal but you can use your file manager - just identify the path/location and do it.
Adding a single line to your fallout4.ini file is already the absolute best way of doing it. Any other method would be inferior, hackish (and not in a good way), and run the risk of conflicting with other mods.
Anyone who is capable of downloading and installing an ESP file can edit an INI file. It's not rocket surgery.
Don't use the ini file. The author includes a readme stating it is not the best way. Using the ini will overrule your game ini and even replace it depending on how you use it. It is always best to do things as directly as possible. Find or make Fallout4Custom.ini and add bBorderRegionsEnabled=0 under [General]. If you do not have [General] add it yourself. You will have no border restriction, endorse.
Fallout4Custom.ini
[General] bBorder Regions Enabled=0
NOTE: remove the spaces, I had to include them to post them for some reason
The stupidity of blanket rulesets when associated to scripts or java, I copypasta'd the bit into my file without looking, and was confused when i double checked to see why it wasn't working, and saw the broken code i put in.

In my case, this will let me harvest the nice Lagonuts and such certain mods have afforded me, some of which are a bit south of the invisible border on the south end of the Commonwealth.
If you use Clarity, open that mods file location and edit the Clarity.ini file and add the command under [General] in there or just use BethINI to edit this and so much more.
All I had to do was simply paste bBorderRegionsEnabled=0 under[General]in C:\Users\teami\Documents\My Games\Fallout4 in the file namedFallout4.ini And it all worked out just fine, no need to download any map border remover mod or anything like that!
Got it figured out... If you're using MO2 you have to edit the ini files in MO2, not the files in your games folder. MO2 uses its own ini files. Once you edit them via MO2 it works.
Mod managers are junk. They can conflict with mods that have ini files. They can conflict with simple manual install mods. If you let them keep mods up to date they can trash your load order with one mod update and you will spend days trying to find the issue. It is less work to manually manage your mods than it is to manage a mod manager and troubleshoot the issues. I can't stress enough if you don't want issues do everything yourself and block everything from changing your hard work.
I never said that. The mod manager failed the install and the player did a manual fix. Mod managers are the second most common reason for mod failures. I help people with mod manager failures all the time.
