    For some reason it's still using .50AE ammo, could it be due to the other patches? I installed mag remover patch, 3rd person fix, and the update file.

    The gunners spawn with a duplicate desert eagle weapon entry that always starts with the .44 conversion, it was quicker and easier than messing around with levelled lists and keywords, making the same changes to the second desert eagle weapon form that you did to the main one will give you the results you want.
