Version 2.1.0 Update notes : [EN] New standalone and slightly modular vest [FR] Une nouvelle veste avec quelques parties modulables
Note / Help Request : I faced a few issues during the process so it's not exactly as modular nor as weathered as I intended it originally, but this one's is good enough to pass the point of first release. Please enjoy.
Issue 1 : Tried to separate pectoral and hips pouches in two separated attach point ... but when both where equiped, well, both disapeared. I've combined them in one single attach point for now.
Issue 2 : I tried to make it more weathered by adding a layer with stains ... but it doesn't appear ingame (shows only in the outfit studio).
Thing is that PMC Extended provides some lore content ... and I didn't consider to replace/clone it. I will look for a survey module/service to find out how many of you see the need for PMC extended as a hindrance (and maybe, depending on the result, reconsider this).
I do still wish we had these awesome patches on vanilla gear, because I don't like to massively change the look of the game, but I want to give my merchants uniforms with your patches. Maybe someone will add PMC patch slots to some things like dog armour, Generals uniform, Railroad coat etcI don't mind installing PMC as craft only as a master. I wonder if I am making any sense?
There's a small issue with the ModuleConfig.xml file, which results in PMC_extended_lore.esp being placed in the wrong place: Data/data/PMC_extended_lore.esp Instead of: Data/PMC_extended_lore.esp)
The fix is simple: line 84 of ModuleConfig.xml reads: "<file source="Data\PMC_extended_lore.esp" destination="Data\PMC_extended_lore.esp" />" Change it to: "<file source="Data\PMC_extended_lore.esp" destination="PMC_extended_lore.esp" />"
Thanks for the report. I'm currently working on this one and the Private Military Company Extended - Flags too. I'll fix that on the next release (approximatively mid july)
