You weren't kidding. It for sure was a big undertaking. But after alota frustration, headaches and hard work, I learned blender enough to make exactly that.

Probably an amalgamation of mods, but posting here because of the situation. I've had a recurring bug, where I shoot a mine in VATS, it knocks me over, then I stand up, but the camera stays in that spectator view instead of switching back to 1st person. So I'm just watching myself helplessly try to walk around and aim. Going in and out of the tfc console command didn't work, among others. Can't interact with objects, doors or open pipboy. Only happens inside of VATS. A survival progress killer for sure.
Alright, I've done just that, and I get the VATS knockdown bug whether this is enabled or not. I guess I really gotta make sure I don't get knocked down in VATS otherwise I'm screwed! Thanks for your help and this helpful mod.

This is not recommended though since the camera forces to 3rd person on every knockdown, potentially causing problems like stuck camera (at least on my end). You can also turn off the knockdown effect anytime and adjust the knockdown chances of each tier (they're 100% by default)."
I would really appreciate a version of this mod where getting up would be slower the more damaged you are, or very slow any time you have a crippled limb.
This mod is a permanent addition in my load order so thanks for making it! I was curious if there was any way to make this affect enemy NPCs getting out of bed, getting up, or out of chairs? They always take a really long time to complete the animations when in combat.
Hi, really sweat looking set of mods really looking forward to trying them out, as I'm building a make sense version of fallout and this does - shock and adrenaline - seem like the vanilla guy is always concussed getting up so slowly but manages to shoot straight a sec after lol Just to ask does use scripts or tweaked base game animations? (I'm a noob when it comes to animations sry if dumb question :).
THANK you! It never made sense to me why anyone would just straight up take their time getting up in a life or death situation in Fallout 4 lmao. Now I don't have to deal with that frustration, sweeeet. : D

Question. Is it possible to make a get up animation where the character does a "kip up"??? There is definitely exactly that for Skyrim(SSE at least).
