Thanks for the howto for adding the menu music. I instead used The Beggining is the End is the Beggining- Smashing Pumpkins the song from that beautiful Watchmen trailer and it's is soooo beautiful how it fits. I half expected "A Film by Zsck Snyder" to pop up ?
I'm confused. The "wander man" option, when I play the BK2 file, has the imagery of the "Wanderer" video that was one of the trailers (though for some reason it's not on the store page now), but instead of "The Wanderer" song, it's a rock instrumental. When I use it in-game, the main menu loop is replaced by the "Wanderer" visuals, but plays the same music as vanilla with the "wanderer" video. Was that what you intended?
The short answer is yes. The music is not included due to copyright restrictions, which is stated in the description.
I made these a long time ago with the intention of including it, but found out the hard way that wasn't acceptable. The videos demonstrate the original idea of the concept. In the description I have outlined how you could theoretically replace the main menu music with whatever "music" you desired, but I can't provide the music I use as shown in the videos. Again, they're an example only.
A bit OT: I just poked around in the music files, which includes mod-added music, to see if the radio station song "The Wanderer" was in there, so I could replace the main menu loop myself. I didn't see it, since it's probably in an archive, but I saw a couple of Kevin McLeod songs -- his stuff is great.
All good, it was a fair question. It was what I wanted to do originally. Anyway, "The Wanderer" is there under: Data/Sound/FX/MUS/Radio/DiamondCity/MUS_Radio_Diamond_Dion_TheWanderer.xwm
Though you will need to extract it from the Fallout4 - Sounds.ba2 archive, rename it, and place it in the correct location. Alternatively, someone else has already done it!
