    Cheat Terminal users:

There is an option in Cheat Terminal to keep items (infinite items?) - with that enabled, crafting a weapon will go into an infinite loop and most likely crash your game.

I suggest that you turn off that particular cheat when crafting weapons - because there is no fix for this.

The reason: To avoid having random parts added to created weapons this mod creates a "placeholder" item. When that is added to the player's inventory it is detected and replaced with the real item drawn from a leveled list (which has no random parts added, so you always get for example the10mm base item).

Since your Cheat Terminal settings are putting the "placeholder" item back into the player's inventory, you have an infinite loop.

I only have Accessory versions of weapons at the weapon smith (they just go on your back and exist as "armor" pieces and not as actual weapons), are there blueprints you have to find or something??

It sounds as though this mod has not been installed properly. Please double-check it - maybe you need to download again?

Properly installed? It's just a esp file it's in the list and is or rather was enabled (I've since switched to Craft Framework so not trying to use this mod atm).

All I need is a version of this mod that allows you to find recipes around the map like 76! cool mod though

Never played 76, though I guess it’s a good idea.

I basically figure that having the skill to make various parts, the SS would have the knowledge to make the entire weapon as well.

Yeah, that's rational tbh; that's what I liked about 76. It doesn't make sense that you suddenly have this knowledge, so finding recipes and scrapping weapons to learn mods was a pretty fair way of going about it

If that’s how it is in 76, that makes sense - it would be a major change to Armorsmith, Blacksmith, Gun Nut to make it work like that.

Armorsmith perks still work on 76, but you just have to get the recipe first. Maybe on Fallout 4 it could increase the chance of finding higher level mods; that would help a little

      Thanks.

Mostly I figure it’ll be useful for players who want to arm their settlers similarly in a settlement, without going to a lot of hassle.
