    Sticky
FAQ... Read this before sending me questions.
Will you merge all your mods? Can this be an update to your other mods?
No. I do not believe I will ever do anything with them, if you want to know why please read the sticky message on Renovated Furniture’s forum.
Can you make this an .esl?
I won’t be making this an .esl, I’m LAZY.
The surface isn’t at the top, the animation is off, hard to pick up, hard to place.
Yes I know. I can’t fix it, so we all get to suffer. Thankfully Place Everywhere is a mod that exists, that you should have.
This broke something! I uninstalled and my menu is corrupt.
You should avoid uninstalling mods in the middle of a playthrough to begin with, but if you follow the SMM instructions, SMM should fix your menu. Beyond that this mod can’t touch anything else. This can only ever ADD items, to its own menu. It overwrites nothing, it alters nothing.
Can you make this dirty; something about lore and the end of the world. Art is poo poo you can find better for free.
I super duper won’t! And trying to lore me into making dirty stuff for you will get you a block. Any negative comment about my own art therapy also= block, just sayin.

    Future updates
I will have lace curtains on a curtain rod so help me.
Water in the bowls(I remade them and now...nothin)
The rest of the clutter, lots of it needs adjusting or remade.
If my attention span is good, actually implementing some of my own mesh work.
    More ‘carpets’

Yo, massive thanks to everyone for getting me into hot files.

I love the look of this mod. However, it refuses to show up in game. I downloaded the version that doesn't require CC. I do have Nuka world. I used Nexus Mod Manager, so I'm not sure if that's the issue.

depends on whats happening, if the items are invisible within menu somethings gone wrong with the install, which shouldn't happen cause they are archived but you never know. Otherwise if the menu doesn't show up at all you need to make sure SMM is doing its thing correctly.

I'll do a reinstall, but I'm thinking SMM is dropping the ball somewhere. I'll get back to you. thanks for the reply!

"The only thing your missing from no DLC/CC version that was from the DLC is a fire hydrant. And I don't plan to make another version right now(there are currently 4 editions of this lol) but I may with the next update."

Would a DLC version without CC be possible? Or is the DLC content also using some CC stuff too, like a mix? Because I have all the DLC, but I am trying to stay away from all CC stuff because, well you know "paid mods" and all.

Sorry, I wld have loved to use thuis, but the backtracking of CC mods (and then being told they weren't there after DLing em) just to get new furniture, was too much a pain in the ass.
I really like what you've made, but the hidden reqs just pissed me off and I deleted the whole thing..
If you cld make it avail w out all the esl/esp back tracking, I wld love to have this in my L.O.

what? There are no "hidden" requirements. Likewise no backtracking is required. Both versions of the mod are presented in full, you download either one or the other. One version has the CC requirements removed but I also removed the CC related content.

I got the Missing Masters error with the dlc-oriented one in Vortex: "aes_FURN.esp depends on cceejfo4002-nuka.esl"
I think that's what he's referring to. When downloading that version it doesn't show Creation Club content as a requirement, only SMM. If one doesn't read the description- always a good idea, but even _I_ downloaded the wrong one initially after reading it by accident, so it happens to the best of us- then that gets missed. Took me all of 90 seconds to see the error, come back, realize I'd downloaded the wrong file and get the correct one. So, Stormpriest1066, if you're still following this just switch the versions and Bob's your uncle :)

Kinda sucks if somehow vortex overrides my warnings(they are there when downloading manually). But I did ensure that both on the front page and within the file description itself it says " Requires SMM, Nuka World and the Nuka CC". I've made it more clear that there are two versions of the exact same mod and only one is needed.

Thanks for letting me know that vortex somehow overrides the requirements. Tho I'm not sure how to address that, I guess in future versions maybe make the title of the mod "Its Furniture DLC, SMM and CC required" idk I don't use vortex so I guess maybe something to look into. (I live my life in chaos and manually install and sort everything.)

I've seen Witcher 3 assets in Skyrim on nexus too. Do CD Projekt Red allow free use of their assets for not for profit mods? If so, I might look into this game files.

Correct, The Witcher 2 and 3 assets can be used, I don't think the first one tho because that was on biowares engine and not on theirs.

Your renovated furniture rugs and decoration mods have been a stable on my mod-list for ages. This will be a wonderful addition. Thank you very much!

One can never have enough furniture and decoration as a true Fallout 4 "Sims-er".

Did you make the textures for the beds yourself? If so do you have any tips for making textures with patterns and such? I've recently started retexturing vanilla assets and found that my workflow is far from ideal.

Yes and no, I used some textures I paid for as the base and the patterns are from Rene Bloom, but the combo and editing I did myself (I can also make patterns and arrays but my like mass effect stuff can't be released? I don't think?)
Anyways my work flow goes like this. I get the mesh, then in nifskope get the UV map, using that with the diffuse texture I separate all the parts. So for the bed the edge of the duvet, pillows etc. I made the normal maps kinda clumsily with the base textures and then kinda built up the texture from there. For me isolating the parts as different layers in photoshop is the biggest step, because once I have that its very easy to retexture something.
